The video looks great. I like some of the new tricks. I will say though, the zooming is a little much and it seemed kind of random and off. If you’re gonna zoom I’d say the editor needs to be more intentional with it and be more expressive with it.
Just tried this on a joint I’m working on for a client and dude my mix instantly sounded borderline radio ready and I tried it with only stock plugins. Thanks so much dude 🙌🏻
👌🏽nice! I do something similar..kick and snare first and then I also do percs before going to main melody..then counter melody and bass🙏🏽 Doing the kick first was a game changer for me..pretty much ensures your kicks are heard for the most part
For someone like me who is a rap artist I am getting into making my own beats more and more! I want to bring an original sound to the game. For now I am mixing my beats with the stock plug ins in Logic Pro x. I have no idea what the hell I am doing lol I just play it by ear. What advice can you give me? Like you stated in this video I am looking to make my beats sound full and clear. Should I invest in some plug ins? Beat packs etc?
Great lesson man, does anyone no where i can get them angel type vocal-samples. Ive herd them in hella biG releases but i cant finD them. They seem to complement so many styles of hiphop music and i need them.....PLEASE!!
Insane to see the exact same line of plugins that you use, I've been telling people you don't need to have a billion dollars to get a quality mix. Especially if you're starting with sounds that are already high quality. People waste so much of their valuable time polishing turds instead of finding a new recording or making it themselves! Great video as always.
Video may be a little dark... still working out some kinks and details with my new video editor! Thanks for understanding!

Loved it
Thank you so much man. You just showed how simplicity is the GOAT. Learned in 7 minutes what I’ve been searching YT for for hours 😭
bro thanks so much. long story short you just made my mastering so much easier. i had to subscribe!
Just a lil disclaimer for everyone: If youre using widening on the master, BE CAREFUL with the low end since wide bass can get outta hand easy :)
Totally agree, what's helpful is using a side EQ on the master and cutting out the low end. that way you have a completely mono low end!
YES!
@@JJLofficialsure, but i think id be more effective to use the same vst for master widening and low monoing just like bb did it in the video
bro this is freaking genius

Always appreciate you making your explanations simple and effective for everyone to understand🤘🏻
If you have your song done, sans vocals, the video starts at 4:00 for you

Really love this one easy and simple
thanks so much!
It's really subjective, but I usually pull back on mixing stuff knowing that clients want Raw stems..
thats true!
