After the collapse of the USSR, Crimea was an autonomous republic within Ukraine. Kyiv began to squeeze the autonomy of Crimea out of the legal field. Year after year. The Ukrainian language was imposed. There were no investments. Kyiv was destroying the legal status of Crimea. Israel has been pushing the Palestinians out of their territories and from its territory year after year. Israel was destroying the legal status of autonomy.

Faith is different. Bennett Wong in his book “The Manual for Life” defines faith as “the felt assurance of the continuation of life “

The US would like it if Russia foolishly fully engaged in Ukraine, the way the US did in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. The difference is Ukraine is not on the other side of the world from Moscow. Strategically different stakes at play require different solutions. Hypersonic missiles reduce the distance to DC, EU etc
Ray McGovern gives me hope.
The real problem is for the US to get rid of its stupid ignorance and indispensability feeling and get back to the political reality and negotiate before the election otherwise the world is in deep trouble.
