- Do you tie a knot at the beginning of your project?
Tying a knot at the beginning of your first row can help secure the yarn and prevent it from unraveling as you start your project. This can be particularly helpful if you're using a slippery or delicate yarn that is prone to coming undone. It can help to stabilize the first stitch and give you a more secure foundation to work from.
However, some knitters prefer not to tie a knot at the beginning of their work, as it can create a bulky or uneven edge.
Therefore, tying a knot at the beginning of your knitting projects depends on your personal preference and the specific requirements of your project. Do you tie a knot? Let us know in the comments section below.

I have not done this, but I am working on a temperature blanket, which has several colours that you have to weave in at the ends, and I'm having a terrible time with it. I think I might try this and see what it looks like. It can't be any worse than the mess i have made so far, ty 😊
I recommend trying the Russian join method for temperature blankets. While it may take some time, the results are definitely worth the effort!
