I know this is personal and seemingly a non-sequitur with the comics, but I believe it's vital to know about a writer because it informs and shapes practically everything about the writer's underlying interpretation of death. Well I think they certainly affect one another, because they determine whether one views death as absolutely final or not Which CERTAINLY alters how one views life and death.

They will bring back the ENTIRE Satam cast, and they have solved all legal disputes so they also will bring back the boom cast, fleetway cast and Archie cast, and you’ll get to decide how to implement everything. You have total freedom. However in order to get this, you must knock out Kyle, tie him up and sell him to the Walt Disney company where he’ll have to be on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride for all eternity. Will you do it? Before you answer, just know SEGA will also throw in a Skies of Arcadia remaster, 5 sequels, and an ongoing comic that you get to be head writer of.

In the "Dash and Spin" manga, Eggman implements an absurd scheme with him being a film director. Studiopolis Zone clearly seems to be Eggman's media making hub. At the end of Generations, Modern Eggman tells classic he's always wanted a job telling people what to do. Boom Eggman even had a dedicated episode about directing a film. It seems across, Time, Space and Dimension Dr. Robotnik has an interest in being a film maker. So what kind of film do you think he would make? (Do not take the easy road out by simply saying "Military propaganda film" or "His own embellished live-action adaptations of "Tokyo Ghoul" or "Chainsawman"). Would Sonic and his pals think his films have too much "Yoke messaging?"
40:20 - Can you please stop answering questions with “don’t worry be happy” I get your trying to help people not stress over sonic lore so much but let’s be honest We fans who worry about sonic lore enough to ask about it here aren’t gonna suddenly stop having questions/concerns just because you tell them not to worry and be happy if anything not get proper answers to questions will just get some of us to worry about it more or get annoyed at not getting a real answer. I would know I get annoyed every time here you answer with “ don’t worry be happy “ to any one’s questions.
42:13 - I love seeing Sonic the Hedgehog embrace his Shonen side in the games recently and I was wondering if you wrote any storylines that were incorporated from stories in other Shonen series like Naruto, One Piece, My Hero Academia, Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, etc. If not, is there a story arc you'd like to explore from a Shonen series you're interested in?

@Ricky Gamer I think it's a good question and actually fits with what's happened in the IDW Sonic plot so far.. they *could* do it in an all-ages book nowadays if it was tackled correctly AS as a main focus in the plot. What would correctly look like? I dunno, the results prob could vary.
I don't know if a lot of writers and editors of these kinda books realize but even some of the younger readers (preteen, teen) of comics could actually be struggling with their mental health and it never hurts to have that approached respectfully and appropriately in some fashion in the media they already enjoy consuming.. could make for a neat, engaging, new kind of story at the end of the day. I think Ian probably understands this but maybe it's just not a main focus. I guess maybe it's a case of the tone getting too dark at times if this was to be a major plot focus. Stuff like PTSD, anxiety, etc. tackled seriously and in-depth.. I dunno.
Since he's been a darker character tonally in the past before, a Shadow spin-off with a plot element involving a deeper look into mental health would be so sick, btw, but that's coming from a big fan and someone whom embraces the edginess.

Haha I wasn't expecting such a randomly serious question at the very beginning here, but pleasantly surprised that my outlook matched Ian and Kyle's. Not that it matters if people agree on such topics. But always nice to know there are like-minded people out there.

I believe that Ian has a talent in being remarkably eloquent when he speaks about topics - and Kyle is really on the same wavelength too - and notably during the few times where they've addressed the deeper topics put forth before their bumblin' eyes, I genuinely feel like they've done a good job respectfully tackling them, as best as they could do with the audio format. All that practice with using their imagination pretty dang well with countless potential Sonic scenarios really paid off!

Question: A contract deal has made it so The Forget Me Knots promote Honey's company by wearing her brand new line of clothes during their next concert. How do the yellow gals Mina and Honey interact, what kind of clothing do you see the band wearing, and how does it all pan out?
Holy cow, that beginning topic was obviously deep but I want to say to you two that it was actually approached super well and couldn't imagine a better way to tackle it -- and I especially say this as someone who has struggled from a past history of general anxiety & panic disorder that was probably largely sparked due to the inevitable lingering of the mind into deeper, complex topics such as the content discussed. I believe I deal with these ponderings as a creative person with philosophical-thinking tendencies and the involuntary (lol) tendency to have more in-depth questions about life in general, on the regular. From my experience (others with anxiety and deep thinkers alike can maybe relate), honestly, when you have sudden, strange releases of adrenaline and nervousness as a growing teenager developing anxiety due your brain wiring, and maybe are someone that is devoted to making art of any kind, it can altogether force you to look at your existence, and art, from a new perspective!
I genuinely feel it's better to think about those topics in moderation and discuss it rather than let any fear or societal pressure make it difficult to approach as a topic.. and I think it also has a big part in making good art at the end of the day in some parts, as it's surely such an engrained part of existence. I remember when I started to think on a deeper level later on in life, it did subconsciously travel into my art. Making art about time travel and loss, and such..

Also, Sonic is cool. Remember Ian's words everytime Sonic loses a life. Or.. make theories about immortal Tails in the Sega Genesis games. I dunno.
Also, this reminds me that it's said by many to let others know how much you appreciate them as we're all here, I feel like it's good time to say yet again how much I love this channel and community.. you may not realize, but this is one part of a bigger whole that does surely give its fans a regular schedule to focus on and contribute to a greater purpose and meaning (I mean especially if you have chronic health issues or anything else giving you extra challenges with general living).. this year it'll be five years I've been listening, wow! I especially love the silly and creative questions the most, it helps to be amused especially when life can be pretty tough, but ones that make you really think and get your brain working are just as cool, IMO. He wasn’t faster than Sonic. He just got zapped with a ray Robotnik made that temporarily gave him super-speed. And he wasn’t faster than Sonic, he was just as fast as him.
The first question is interesting, because there's where The End clashes a bit between Japanese and English scripts: different interpretations of how one views mortality. It's a deep question.

If the Sonic universe was an adult episodic comedy cartoon who would be the main cast? What are the character dynamics and is Fang the drunk hobo "Murder" who is used anytime the show needs a side antagonist?
I feel like Eggman would make Oscar bait movies and some how actually win. He would have that surprised Pikachu face from TSR

I wonder if it will take a while for them to get through awnsering all the normal youtube questions people did all over the past months, there is a lot to get through, to go all over many months ago until nowadays.
Yo yo -- I've been listening to the bumblers for a long time and have observed the big increase in the numbers of questions sent. Nowadays, it does take them a long time to get through standard questions, truthfully.. to get a quicker response you can choose some other (pretty affordable IMO) options like be a priority patron, although another free option is to sending your question early on in the chat end-of-the-month longer Livestream episode or send a superchat during those episodes.. or, newer method, if you have a Discord Nitro sub and already have two inactive Nitro boosts on Discord you can get in the server for $1 and get a monthly Booster question (priority equivalent) there.
If I had to guess, they also probably have a backlog of standard questions from the chat of the Livestream episodes so that's a lot for them to answer right there. Plus all the other sources of questions!

@@PigDan None of the paid options fit to me, because, i live in a 3rd world country, with lower salary, higher live cost and stuff like that, where the dollar is like, 5 times or more the equivalent of our currency, everything is 5 times more expensive, with again, lower salary. the livestreams unfortunally doesn't suit me as well, because there is a limit of 200 letters, and i kinda want to do some large questions, that are hard to resume, i think unfortunally, i can only wait, i wonder how long it will take to all the remaining questions be awnsered, but there is a LOT to go thourgh, to get to nowadays, so, it's definetly going to take a while.
@@banjo9158 That's understandable! You can prob message Kyle and maybe he can give you an estimate or suggestions.
I know from what they've said, it's been a lot of questions to go through. This is why you can see some questions that were clearly from ages back sometimes finally make its way into the show. They can only cover so much in each recording, plus I think it probably takes longer to get through things since they record Minis and Guest Episodes now.

Ian and Kyle went from starting the podcast with a discussion topic each episode and only having a few questions answered at the end to then later choosing to shift the focus to the show being all about answering questions mainly. I think there were always more questions sent in via the UA-cam comment section here than anything, prob the most popular option I've seen.

Please god, use Mecha Mark 3
What if SA1 Mecha Sonic Mk 3 was never activated and forgotten by Eggman and someone just finds it, floating in its tube, and it's accidentally activated and Mk 3 imprints to the first person it sees and designates them as it's user/master and they follow their orders without question, for good or bad.
But it's logic circuits weren't tested back then so Mk 3 follows orders too literally and it's actions end up being chaotic.
It's like a first born without much a personality but learns and grows emotionally.
Neither a potential hero nor an impending threat.
I like to think that Eggman had to choose between finishing Mk 3 or to upgrade Metal Sonic's software, who was also there, which leads to the events to Sonic Heroes.
Just an idea.
Question: In the Japanese version of Frontiers all of the cut-scene dialog was re-written/localised, while other dialog (like Egg-memos, Big's dialog and Sonic in-game barks) where more direct translations. This is true throughout the game barring one cut-scene, that being the one of Eggman waking up in Cyberspace. Unlike every other cutscene this one is a direct translation making it stand out, so I ask was it originally written or intended to be an Egg-memo and later changed to a cut-scene (this would explain why the voice performance matches those of Egg-memos)?
Side note, I loved the dialog and characterisation in Frontiers and hope you will get to work on the future Sonic games/projects.
