The funny thing about you mentioning Freddie being able to sing the way he did due to his teeth is that Brendon had broken his nose when he was young and his parents never got it fixed correctly, so he can only breath out of one nostril. Don't know how that's connected, but it was a lot to type and I'm not deleting it.
There's no debate on it, Brendon is one of the best vocalists in the industry, things he can do with his voice are absolutely insane & he's a hell of a performer!! Inspirational artist for sure 💙💙
I've seen a lot of people request that you react to 5SOS's cover of Killer Queen and I totally agree BUT you should also watch the making of that song video, because it shows how hard they worked on the song and they recorded it the same way Queen did with all the layers and everything. It also shows their personalities, which is fun too!
He did this when I saw the tour for Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die in summer 2014. So amazing live. Also if you want to keep going on Queen covers, 5SOS has a cover of Killer Queen.
If he does that, he should watch the making of video too because they recorded all the harmonies together and did an insane amount of layers, just like Queen did! It made me appreciate the cover even more!
OMG ! please if u haven't seen it, can u react to Brendon Urie Best live vocals Popcrush??? Dude u gotta ❤ I would totally recommend SO many other videos. I can even make a list, cuz Brendon is THAT good ! Thank you for the reaction and thoughts about it 🤟
It'd be really interesting to see how you analyze another cover of this song by Pentatonix. They are an acapella group that are known for their amazing beats, and I'd love to see you react to how they arrange and mix their cover.
I absolutely love Brandon and this is one of my favorite performances of his. But I feel like everyone doesn’t think about the band in this song. They KILL it and keep up with him every step of the way... they’re all so awesome!!!! 😍
My favorite thing about this video is that you can actually see that he has a smile on his face the whole time. Even if you don’t see it in the shape of his mouth, you can still see it in his cheeks and eyes, like those subtle cues of a genuine smile that we subconsciously pick up on. It’s super infectious and it just makes you happy to see someone enjoying themselves so genuinely. It looks like he couldn’t be happier than to be doing what he’s doing in that moment.
Those killer notes at the end! His cover of Into the Unknown is amazing too. Would love it if you reacted to Adam Lambert with Queen - who wants to live forever.
I LOVE your passion not just for this song/video but for music in general! It shines through when you pause/play/pause/play (repeat) to explain what's going and why. You want others to "get it"...I can relate and absolutely appreciate! I love your comments and interpretations afterwards, I always look forward to what you think is going on in someone else's mind! Don't we all...?!? #Props
Yay! I'm so glad you reacted to it. I know you're getting a lot of other suggestions too, but Dying In LA would still be really cool to do too. It's a beautiful performance.
PLEASE look at different Bowie songs throughout the decades! Sometimes I feel he gets over-shadowed when he had an amazing voice, could paint, could act, and write nearly every song in his discography along with the music. As well as changing the genres from album to album. This is why I listen to David Bowie (and saw him in 2004 for my 14th birthday, and seeing The Rolling Stones the year after), Queen, and older bands: they more often wrote their own songs and cared so much about the music. It doesn’t sound like it’s been turned out by some generic factory, with artists giving little uniqueness to their songs - Brendon and Twenty One Pilots being one of the few exceptions. And maybe Lady Gaga.
i absolutely loved your commentary on this video. watching other musicians appreciate good music and actually know what they're talking about gives me so much joy and inspiration, so thank you
How about a reaction of any of their albums? :) same way you did for Harry Styles and Niall Horan, breaking down each songs. Or also react to any of the live versions of "say amen" from TV shows
I love Brendon too and having been born in 1970, Queen was very VERY much part of my up being I musically speaking. Also, as a classically trained pianist myself, and Queen coming onto the music scene back then YES, their sound although "rock n roll" was different but they especially Freddie wanted something different and the "flowy" sound you spoke of was present in even their more pop sounding tunes, say "a Little Thing called Love." But hence we got a NEW genre called what? Rock Opera and BR really kicked it off in style! Inwas hoping that Brendon's guitarist would do true justice to guitar GOD, Brian May, and he did fairly well. I hadn't seen this cover before and really was afraid to, but knowing what an artist Brendon is, i had to and though he DID put his slight spin on it, was still true to the original, which he CLEARLY loves! Thanks for doing this . Found yr channel today and enjoying it so far. Rock on, 😀🤘 Lady Aszneth (Florida) @Blake McLain
It’s funny he got better at this. If you watch a more recent version with the new female bass player it’s even better and her background vocals add to it as well.
Another good example of what u mentioned at the end is champagne supernova by oasis, where everyone seems to have their own interpretation of the meaning even tho Noel Gallagher said even he has no clue what he was writing about but that’s what made it special.it was free for people to experience it in completely different ways
For a similar feel, although a totally different genre and influences, I’d recommend Colter Wall - The Devil Wears a Suit and Tie. It’s a modern song that feels like it’s from decades ago. It doesn’t follow modern conventions for how songs are written and constructed. It’s a sound that you don’t really hear these days.
Please do more reacting to Panic! Brendon's voice is just perfect in every song. His live performances are better than the recording versions. He is one of my favourite singers and I learn a lot from your reactions.
i loove brendon, huge fan of a p!atd and i literally love your reactions in this video, mine were the same as yours lmao i love watching professionals react to p!atd. love your videos!!
Everyone always reacts to the Pop Crush Brendon Urie Best live vocals. There are quite a few other best live vocals videos so maybe you could react to one of those instead. If you need some suggestions just write back and I can suggest some. Also interesting fact about when this was recorded was that Brendon was sick. He had just gotten over having Laryngitis for a week while still performing concerts. He was still having some residual vocal effects from being sick.
I totally agree with your point on artists and producers nowadays always trying to follow this "formula". One recent song that actually reminds of Bohemian Rhapsody and its structure is "The Killing Kind" by Marianas Trench, from their latest album "Phantoms". I highly recommend you check it out, even the entire album as it is better listened to as a whole. It would be great to hear your opinion on it from a producing standpoint. Great video by the way, would love for you to react to more Panic! stuff as well! x
It wa so nice to just see you fully enjoying the song. I know It' been a while since it's came out but I'd like to see your reaction to their album High Hopes.
Pyromaniac (at least for right now) is your BohRhap. You think it's one thing which is great then it's another that's still great but better then you threw in that sort of spoken part and I DIED and yeah. Pyromaniac will probably always be my fave of yours it's stunning ❤
Could you please react to RoadTrips cover of bohemian rhapsody, they actually didn't do a bad job and they have amazing voices and other coves like this is me and before you go, lose you to love me. please give them a chance they have amzing ranges and sound really good together
so....I came across your channel with the folklore video (left a comment about the night game; hello again) and what you're talking about at about the six minute mark? Ooohmygod Marianas Trench is the band you're looking for, if you haven't already heard of them. Like, I'm biased, but Josh Ramsay is a *genius* level songwriter/producer. Their first album is pretty standard pop-punk fare, but they've been topping themselves ever since. Specifically with Ever After, Astoria, and Phantoms. I could go on forever; please check them out
I don't know... to me, when Freddie was talking about him killing a man, I always thought he wasn't actually killing a man but killing a part of himself. That's just my interpretation of that part of the song.
Hi Blake! Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your channel! You do a great job and you’re an excellent teacher, too. My suggestion is Elton John’s Funeral for a Friend. Thanks. I usually have to crank this one up!
If you haven't seen the video, maybe you could try "I'm Going Slightly Mad"..., by Queen? It's inner meaning is how his illness, and the treatment was affecting him, but all of that is woven into an... almost /whimsical/ song.... Or you can always look into more stuff by Harry Styles, Panic! At The Disco & etc... All the same, wish you good luck on your channel.... 💜💙
I know you said you love both p!atd and fall out boy but can you please do a video of you listening to vices and virtues or too weird to live too rare to die by panic OR folie a deux or save rock and roll by fob? even though you've most likely already listened. I'd love to hear what you have to say about them (they're some of my favourite albums)
It would be awesome if you could check out Pop 101 or anything by Josh Ramsay of Marianas Trench, he wrote call me maybe (he reminds me of a canadian Brendon Urie, just in the way he can play most instruments and his vocal range) They have a lot of cool production in all of their albums 🙂 he wrote call me maybe then wrote Pop 101 after he was criticised for the lyrics in call me maybe. The whole song explains how to write a pop song, if it's so easy. it's so technically cool and would love your input into it 🙂
I know I'm late here so chances you even see this comment are pretty slim. Honestly though, you said "nobody does this anymore". That's probably accurate in pop, but in the world of rock, bands still experiment. I'd love to see you react to Avenged Sevenfold - Buried Alive, not because it's anything like Bohemian Rhapsody, but because it too is an epic but modernized.
"you know whats amazing about him?" Me: "EVERYTHING."
Yasssss
your pfp omg
Fun thing is that my dad just said that no human are perfect and I almost screamed BRENDON IS PERFECT AND EVERYTHING IN HIM IS AMAZING
That’s interesting. Most people can only breathe out of one nostril at a time regardless.
Your at 222 likes I'm not gonna fuck that up for you. But just letting you know I would like your post.
@@megasauruss but for a singer its baaaaaaad
U COMMITTED GIRLLLL!!!🤙🙌👏👏
@@megasauruss that's not true at all. You tend to breathe *mostly* out of one nostril in cycles, the other taking a smaller share of air.
Brendon somehow makes it his own while still honoring the original. It's insane
Brendon is insane singer.
Brendon is just THAT good omg, love him
There's no debate on it, Brendon is one of the best vocalists in the industry, things he can do with his voice are absolutely insane & he's a hell of a performer!! Inspirational artist for sure 💙💙
React to Panic at the disco "Into the UNKNOWN"

It´s been done, folks, and it´s great
Like Freddie said, "You can do what you want with my music, but don't make me boring."
Brendon’s voice is such a perfection 😍

“If it means nothing, it means everything” nice take on the song
React to Into the uknow but the version of panic at the disco
Blake is sooo underrated
Loved this vid!! Brendon Urie hes just awesome and unique.
It'd be really interesting to see how you analyze another cover of this song by Pentatonix. They are an acapella group that are known for their amazing beats, and I'd love to see you react to how they arrange and mix their cover.

Brendon is blessed with an incredible vocal range.

Not really a cover if it's one of the 2 official versions of the song.

Hey, could you please react to "Who do you love" by The Chainsmokers ft 5SOS
They have an amazing life performance ❤️
