In Indonesia, Suju is really famous. Everyone know Suju. Even if you don't know K-Pop, then you still know about Suju. You can easily get Suju posters in any bookstores. In Indonesia, people who don't know K-Pop seems to see "korean boygrup" as Suju. I have Exo and astro poster in my room but my parents calls them "Suju posters". And among all, Siwon is reallllyy famous. althought everyone in Indonesia knows About Suju, but for the member's they only knows Siwon 😂 (especially for the old like granddad, grandmother, parents and non K-Pop fans)

I started being a kpop fan 2 years ago and honestly the first one that I felt really connected are Bigbang, Suju, and 2ne1 idk about new kpop fans *not all but those who are so disrespectful and ignorant* but I think they are pathetic I just hate how they brag about their idols just because they are more popular I mean yeah they're popular but technology and internet made them famous around 2009 internet wasn't that powerful enough to make someone famous and known around the world until Justin Bieber appeared, youtube become a factor for his career and then as the years go by artist *may it be koreans or foreign acts* are being discover through social media/reality shows/ whatever you call it that is being run by technology making it more trashy I mean really I have nothing against artists who really wants to sing/dance/act but I hate how tv shows and awards shows doesn't work the same way as before, back then artist who have genuine talents were given priorities and recognition not those who just have many fans and are *currently on trend*. However BB,SJ and 2ne1 and other kpop artist back then work so hard to get the recognition that these new kpop fans are shamefully hating on.

Soooo you're implying a particular artist is not talented because they happen to have many fans and are 'on trend' wow, sad. Dragging down an artist just because you don't stan them and are annoyed about how popular they are or that they have some irritating fans as if that affects the artist themself. If you actually read their lyrics and take the time to look into them, you may not have such an assumptive and narrow mindset. The fact is, all K-Pop idols are talented. They all train hard for years to even debut and then practise over 10 hours a day all the routines, constantly have schedules, performances, fan meetings and are always making new music for fans as well as touring. They can pretty much all dance, all sing.. Big groups, small groups. Same goes for all of them. If a group gets hype all of a sudden it does not diminish the talent they have and take that away. The older gen legendary groups are talented af but so are the newer gen ones too. All idols have a common goal: to follow their dream. Whether that is pursuing singing, rapping, dancing, whatever it is they love. They were all regular children growing up in common households (except a few that may have been privileged) who finally got their big break and are deservedly getting the opportunities they could have only ever dreamed of. I personally would never get salty about people fulfilling their dreams and having amazing lives but I guess that doesn't apply to everyone unfortunately :-/

Autotune and many more are popularly use nowadays I mean for example youtubers *not all but some* are getting more popular because they gathered lots of fans with the use of internet I have nothing againsts them but there are other artist that are being overshadowed because of this... and as for the fans it does somehow reflect their idols if you're someone who idolize a person you should have also considered other artist being superior that your idol there's no need to brag and boost and hate on them..
