Well yes I know that, but waipeu seems like such a newlywed thing to say and they've been married for 2-3 yrs with a kid already... it's nice that they're still in the honeymoon phase, is what I mean
I mean it's good that he can shows his love for his wife, but waipeu is just Korean accent for wive and it's common for husbands to address their so that way
hi :) it seems like there's some confusion here. My parent's have been maried for 25 years my dad sometimes reffers to my mom as "우리 와이프" (my waipeu) when talking to others. It's not a lovey dovey term just a more modern term :)
