Suzuki V-Strom 800DE Head-To-Head with Honda XL750 Transalp

We went to Scotland to spend a few days riding the new Suzuki V-Strom 800DE and the Honda XL750 Transalp. Motorways, fast A Roads, back roads, and even gravel were all ridden to bring you our view on which of these motorcycles is the one to be with.

Original Aftermarket options: Honda
Apperence (subjective): Honda
Airfilter access: Suzuki
Gps mounting bar: Suzuki
Conclusion:
To drive: Honda
To live with it: Suzuki

If only the Transalp had a headlight more akin to the Africa Twin, rather than the bland unit from the 500X and Hornet which kind of feels a bit budget.
