Where are the towing eye locations, on a BMW 1 Series F20 F21? Don't use for towing.

This is very informative. Could you consider covering the topic of tow bars and hooks especially when towing a boat/rib. Thank you from scuba divers in London.

Thank you. I will see what I can do. What vehicle do you use pull your boats? My Dad bought his Porsche Cayenne and BMW X6 for the job, but I don’t know if he uses his boats. Haha

You are absolutely wrong about towing with those hooks. They are only for transport only, not towing. I promise, you will regret using them to tow

Nope. BMW Manual clearly states to only use for towing a car onto a flatbed. It is specifically NOT to be used as a tie down point for transportation, BMW does not use them for transport, they use T-hooks in the holes where the jack pads would go. Using the eye hook as a tie-down point will cause it to fail as it is not designed to be pulled down or up as also demonstrated in this video.

I don't know where you people are from, but if you get caught using the transport hooks, BMW dealer with escort you off their property. The only are to be used for transport from overseas to the USA. Those hooks will break loose if you continue to be stupid. It happens all the time here in the USA. You pull straight out on a Transport hook, and I 100% guarantee you will be buying a BMW. I don't want to hear back from you. You need to be trained on how to protect yourselves from a disaster. I've been towing for 35 years and trained folks for 22 years. So, stop here, and good bye.
