Ive never seen someone adressing this side of becoming the best version of yourself. i spend so much time trying to be better but whenever i do find a way to do so i ultimately back down and end up feeling worse afterwards. its been a horrible cycle of decline going on in my life for years now. thank you for this video it made me feel a little bit more normal
I still struggle with this since the thought of getting better means that there's progress but at the same time I felt uncertain since I was so familiar and somewhat got complacent of the feeling with my mental health constantly deteriorating, especially through out the pandemic to the point I have to start from the beginning again. The feeling of getting better feel so foreign since it was like an uncharted territory for me but now I'm taking baby steps and hopefully I'll get there while also improving my mindset a long the way. Your hair is amazing btw and probably the first thing I looked at lol (and are those ear piercings, they look really cool), also your videos have been a source of comfort for me ^^
YES omg that is exactly it you described the feeling perfectly. i love that perspective of taking small steps and realizing change isn't immediate -- i still struggle when i feel good because i'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, for things to get bad again. it's hard because no emotion is forever, and there ARE going to be bad days again but it doesn't mean you're back at square one !!! but when it's been years of consistently doing poorly it's hard to imagine anything else !!! and omg thank u so much
