I love SHIPT. I have decided I will only do Target orders from now on though. Target lists the exact aisle and section of each item (95% accurate) so I can do a 50 item shop in about 30 minutes or so. Also, it’s nice if you pick up a double order and add one on after that from the same store, doing three at once can sometimes put you at about $70 an hour.

Yes, I am going to do my first one soon. Do your customers have to sign after each delivery?
They only sign if it’s a Best Buy delivery, and sometimes it requires no signature, just a picture.
Is there an option to receive delivery only or do you still get the shop orders and have to decline/ignore. Thanks!

I had this issue delivering a Roadie order today, I didn’t pack my car the associate did and there was a bag they packed in a weird spot and I Didn’t notice it until I got home after delivering the order 😱 There was no packing list or number of bags/items etc, So that felt pretty tricky considering I didn’t do the shopping myself. at my own time and expense I went back and delivered the missing bag to the customer because I felt like it was my mistake and oversight.
sometimes, I'm afraid to pick up an Delivery Only, because I'm scared that I might pickup something huge. lol. But most of my DOs are small package items. :). But still nervous though.

I sure hope they soon update the ability to see delivery order items!! I took one that was very heavy commercial water tank refills, multiple gallons of water...as a petite older woman...I would never have taken it . Almost hurt my back. Also...if they order from the store and just use shipt drivers (instead of through Shipt, which never is known), chances of getting a tip is practically zero. It's sad and makes me shy away from d.o.'s....

I have plastic totes. They're extremely useful for separating orders and carrying deliveries in.

You have to simply wait for the loader 😛, I like mixing it up a bit after doing delivery only orders for the past ten months.

By me there is a lot of party city delivery only. It’s hard because they don’t tell you what the order is, and if it turns out to be balloons, good luck fitting multiple orders in your car. I’ve also noticed I rarely get tips on delivery only.
I have the same thing in my area. I know that I will only be able to do party city orders in my truck. Balloons and my mustang do not work

So I’m new to shipt , I’ve only done about 12 orders so far . I have noticed that I only receive tips on my shop & order deliveries. I have been doing a lot of delivery only for shop rite since the door is right up the street and I have only received 1 tip out of all the shop rite deliveries and that tip she offered through Venmo !? Is there something I’m missing ? Are customers not allowed to tip through the app ? It’s just odd that only all my shop rite deliveries I only got pay out no tips on any of them but that one with Venmo .

Just signed up. I can't shop at all so it has to be delivery only. What about the alcohol with Shipt? When I get them on Uber Eats I usually clean up.
I work with Amazon and I get this signature problem and I can tell them they can change it just delivery to front door just in case their not home

Delivery only mean orders is ready and just Pickup then drop off . I went first time and they said still have to shop then delivery. It doesn't make sense ( DELIVERY ONLY) ( DROP OFF ) options . I just quick and keep my self on Amazon flex .

It tells you, but you have to do a certain number of shopping and delivery before you can get the delivery only option.
When a shipt order is being picked up, we can call the phone number and the associate will bring the items outside, can we also go inside give the associate the customers name and pick up the order to speed process up?
Like at target , where do u pick up the groceries ready ?

Any store I go there is no special counter for gigs people or any sign like a Amazon flex . It's big super market . I went customer service counter and they don't no nothing about this app .

I think I'd prefer to do delivery only. I'm kind of pokey when it comes to shopping I don't think I'd be very fast. But my question is do you make more money if you're willing to do the shopping part too? Or is doing the delivery enough to make a little side money. I do about 16 hours for doordash and I wouldn't mind getting another 12 hours through this company

Promotions are all based on your market location. So if theirs a promotion in another city you won't get it.
Unfortunately there is no guarantee with promos as even beyond market place they can be different among drivers well.
Just noticed Amazon Flex drivers have a default $5 tip option when I ordered groceries. Are you also driving for Amazon Flex?
I drive for Amazon Flex, and do Prime Now and Whole Foods Deliveries too. So when you order groceries, is $5 tip the only option, or can you leave a customized tip, or does it give you other tip options? I did a Whole Foods Shift where I received $36 in tips for 7 deliveries, so I was curious how people tipped on there.
Yes I'm also activated on Flex but on hold as I just moved to Pittsburgh and they're full with drivers currently. Will be driving once activated
@@YourDriverMike I've been active on Flex for months but haven't done it yet. It seems like too much work. I've heard they make drivers take crazy amounts of deliveries and the base pay is like $18 an hour. Using your own car. On DD and GH multi-apping I can average $40 an hour.
Do Shipt shoppers know that if you don't message the customer, we can't access the messaging system to let you know of changes to our order??

Personally I don't like this feature because I don't get as many steps throughout my day. One of the perks for me (being a shipt shopper) is having over 14k steps on my fit bit at the end of my day. As for tips in my area I make about a hundred a day (tips)

12 bucks for an order is way too low, especially with today's gas prices. Just got my first offer for target at 12 buck. Not gunna happen chief

As a newer Shipt Shopper I have not liked delivery only. The pay is low, distance far, and no tips
I did 6 of these during the Christmas season. NO ONE TIPPED, NOT ONE PERSON. IM NOT SURE WHY??? Does the app give them an option for giving a tip? They were all drop off/no contact. It just seems strange that not one person thought to tip.
Tips are way down for all the services thanks to Covid.

You can always run them through your GPS to see if another order would make sense but most times I find it's correct in-app
I did a 117 item delivery that took me more than an hour to deliver and i only made $5 tip on a $18 base pay....stay away from Shipt!!!!!

Sorry to hear that J G, there are some things we can do like looking at the minimum payout quote and reviewing the route before accepting but at least from what I've seen higher paying orders can go quickly.
To be honest, that's mostly your fault. A 117 item is a no brainer to not accept that.

So I guess this explains why I stopped get a text when the shopper starts shopping because they're not even shopping????! Yeah, I'm done with Shipt...their services have gone so far down hill!
They can't count on good shoppers/drivers to stick around as they try to make it a min wage job, some of us are here to hustle and get accurate orders done quick but not for $15 - $5/gallon gas every couple orders, instacart too, they are squeezing the drivers until the good ones go to ups or anywhere else really. Also they offer free trials and customers must not be encouraged to tip, unlike Starbucks

Santa Kumar I used to perform 5 deliveries each day for an extra 15 dollars which was great because of the low base pay, got some ok tips too but lots of McDonald’s orders that the store would make you wait, might be better but I’m still trying to get reactivated from being inactive, it’s been over a month now still waiting.

Shipt is terrible where I live. All the orders are 30 miles or more round trip. With gas at 5 dollars a gallon. All orders at less than 10 dollars , net 4 bucks of profit without wear and tear calculated in it. 3 to 5 dollars an hour... hard pass.

85% of the time you take it delivery with no tip.. you will not get a tip

Sooo no one talking about that part! I did a 10 stop delivery with best buy and got no tips! I called in and was told no tips for best buy or cubs and so many others stores they don't tell us about. I'm looking for more information on how to get the most out of shipt.
