- Опубліковано 28 вер 2024
- Charles sh*t his pants today, which he reveals, is not an uncommon occurrence. Charles and Link give advice to a listener who blew chunks during a job interview, and the two discuss their experiences with grief and how they’ve both learned to deal with it. Plus, Charles gives some sweet southern motivation to a gym-goer, and brags about his final grandchild of the segment, Hayden, in another “Grandkid of the Week”. C’mon and have a good time with us!

Welcome to Dispatches From Myrtle Beach! Link Neal and his father Charles Neal are practically identical, except they live thousands of miles apart from each other. Dispatches From Myrtle Beach brings the honest and often hilarious conversations between a tight-knit father and son team, as well as an inside look at the Neal family dynamic. Every Thursday, listeners will get to have the intimate experience of hearing a call between Link and his dad, but it’s not just Myrtle Beach we’ll be hearing about- it’s everything under the (Southern) sun.

I think that's the hardest I've ever heard Link laugh, at his dad shitting his pants today.
So amazing to hear about how Link's mom, Charles's sister, and Charles's mother get together to comfort each other through their grief.
❤❤❤
Thank you for the response to my email. ❤️ My Mamaw was 77 and she suffered with dementia. She was my absolute best friend. You guys have the biggest hearts and I really appreciate the response.
We called my dad's mom "mawmaw" too! My mom always hated it because it was to close to "momma". My mawmaw was a beautiful southern woman ❤
It happens, Charles! As a lady with IBS I hate to admit it but I’ve had quite a few incidents
I absolutely love listening to Charles talk. Reminds me so much of my late grandma and her family with that southern draw and mannerisms. I'd give anything to hear her talk about 'wettin' her britches' or anything really. Keep the stories coming Charles...we love it!
The part about grief is absolutely true-as someone who is currently grieving I appreciate it. Thank you for talking about topics like this.
Glad this turned into a pants-shitting safe space😂 I'm on a sober streak, but in my drunken days, I shat myself plenty of times and fell asleep on the bathroom floor😅 IBS don't help either ahahaa
Do you just not eat until your home
I dont have a gallbladder and i understand! My mother and i had ours removed less than a year a part. 20 minutes or less after eating you better find a bathroom. 😮
I don't even get to finish a meal before my body reacts 😅 At least, that's how it used to be for 16 years. Then one day, it suddenly stopped and switched to the opposite issue. Made it so I never wanted to eat out with the family or while traveling lol. Rather not use public restrooms 😅
I feel for people anytime I hear them say they don't have their gall bladder/going to have removed.
Many times I had to stop just bites into a meal. I take medication for that now.
I just got mine taken out at the beginning of September. I already have ibs and general gastro problems so it's been a nightmare 😅
Not too much info! We love it ! You guys are real! My friend doesn't have a gallbladder and she says food goes right through her ! It's gotta suck!
Link suggesting to keep a “ *LOG* book” and to compare *LOGS* quarterly about Charles dropping the kids off at the pool is what I’m here for!
Not sure if it was intentional or not, but had me rollin around like a child filled with happiness 😂 Thank you guys
I am glad this is on video so Link can warch it back when it happens to him.
I knew the words "tell me about your favorite time you shit your pants" were about to come put of link's mouth just before they did and it still made me laugh out loud
Mr. Charles is my therapy.
I love that Charles connects with younger people by asking if they've seen GMM❤
I really want dispatch merch!!!
"I'm tellin' you", "that would be correct"
So genuine.
had a tough day at work...so glad to come home to dispatches. ❤ thank you, gentlemen!
“Dispatches from Myrtle Beach: its so good youll shit your pants”
This is my first episode.
I love this so much 😁❤️
The intro is FIRE!!!! Love you guys ❤❤
Good Morning, what a way to start the day! ❤😂
I love you boys 😂
we have popcorn on the ceiling of the hallway. It would be deafening in there otherwise. The rest of the house has honeycomb ceilings which also work well
Can’t wait to tune in when you compare logs with your dad lol
Link missed his chance to say "Follow-through questions."
I liked this video at the 4:20 mark hahah amazing conversation
1:26 😂 The way he laugh after what Link said.
Always love a good pants shitting story! I started logging mine and writing short stories about the emergencies
As an IBS-D girlie, I appreciate the shit your pants talk LMAO
Yes please.
TMI:
My 60+ year-old mom had colon cancer in 2019, had her gallbladder removed.
Recently, she shit her white pants after dinner at an Italian restaurant. She didn't make it to the bathroom in time. When her body is ready to go, it's ready to go. She's dropped one more places than ever before, including in a port-o-potty near a river while on a road trip.
I love you Links dad!!!
Has anyone heard the quarterly shit your pants report?
Dang Link really looking like his dad in this episode
Love to you chealsa
1:24 - 2:30
❤️❤️❤️
Where’s Link’s Mom Or Link’s Sister?
Ya know link.. your wife brought up to not make your dad a a point of ridicule in reference to the mullet… kinda don’t like how you went about this subject. I love yall man but damn. Please
his dad clearly is sufferin from mild dementia. it's not allright to exploit him like that on the show. sorry guys.
Seriously? Starting with a story about Charles shitting himself that day? Definitely skipping this one. I have a feeling I'm not missing much.
Honey, we all get there if we live to be old. I get not wanting to hear it, but we don't talk enough in the US about what it's like to be old, or sick, or disabled, or just not 100% functional.
@@shannonpace512 First, I have every right to not listen to that disgusting story. You trying to guilt shame me for not wanting to hear about a guy shitting himself says far more about you than anything else. Second, he explicitly said that it was not about being old, it was because he'd had his gallbladder removed.
@@mattpace1026 Lol, what? a)Don't listen to it then. They have every right to tell it. b)not guilting you, just expressing a different perspective. c)people are more likely to need their gallbladder removed as they age. d)This (this this) is Mythical. Owned by Rhett, "I shit my pants on the way to Dollywood" Maclaughlin and Link "Always do an enema before an event" Neal. They talk about their bowels and more. They've literally peed on camera more than twice now. How are you a fan if this angers you? HOW!?
I'd pick listening to Charles talk about shit himself all day rather than read this negative moaning. Just click away! BYMB
You missed a great one actually Mr. Holier than thou.
can’t believe neither of them acknowledged Link’s accidental pun with “compare logs”
This and ear biscuits are my favorite
Zach bouta hit a personal best with that inspiration
I’m so sad Charles has leukemia! I was laughing and now I’m crying.
I need a counter that says "days since I shit my pants," because I swear I would never make it past 30 days lol. Gotta love IBS.
America’s Internet Dad! Love this show!
miss the weekly dispatches😭 but this is one of my top favorite podcasts
I love the grandkid of the week 🙂
What a coincidence, I have an interview this morning and I feel like I'm about to shit my pants! 😂
Hope your interview went well and was shit free lol.
Link losing it when his dad said he shat himself today 😭😭 wish i had that kind of relationship with my dad!
😝😝😝
Awesome job boys thumb up .
This is my first time watching and it was a great episode. I know I'm going to end end watching them all
I love listening to these in the gym too and I def get the weird looks from laughing too lol
We need mythical BBQ in stores
As alway, a lovely episode. Humerus and honest
I love this podcast!! ❤❤❤
I had my gallbladder out 20 years ago. My gastroenterologist prescribes a medication for this, and it works really well.
What's the prescription? I could definitely use the assistance. 😆 I asked after I got my gallbladder out and I was just told to, "eat healthier, less fatty foods, bye." 😡 It's been years, so maybe I can find another that can help or at least ask my PCP about it. 😊
@@lynnettesue6240 it's called Colestipol, it's actually a cholesterol medication, but it also binds to the excess bile that your body can't recircuate because you don't have a gall bladder anymore. You still need to be wary of the fat content of your diet, but having random, uncontrollable episodes like I used to have is no way to go through life. If you don't have a Gastroenterologist, I would look into seeing one.
This is funny because I don't have my gallbladder either. Working from home on the toilet listening to this....every time I eat...I better be near a toilet 😔🤣
Good morning GOD bless y’all sending love fl
way to be classy and bite your tongue re: "jerkin' out they phones"
✊🏿🤣🆗️🤔😉
#FOSHO
The intro of Dispatches always reminds of New Kid in Town by the Eagles
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Charles the man, the legend, happy birthday to Haiden.
Love this show/podcast

You’re welcome. 👍
most people eat daily. i found with some people your fathers age do eat, but when they feel like eating. i have a cousin who goes 2 or 3 days without eating which is why i got myself in to it earlier. you do need to eat as an adult, but not as much as we think we have to. kids should always eat, they are much smaller and (excuse this) smart but still a little dumber since they only know what is currently taught, but i have not been in school since i graduated so i am probably wrong.
I think it was kinda mean for link to laugh at his dad in front of all these people about him getting old and soiling himself for content that’s not very nice I get he’s joking but that’s a sensitive de-priding story
