This is the first Thames TV outing fir Dick when he briefly left the BBC, whilst these shows were more variety, Dick still used many of his best loved Characters.

A multi-talented man. I've always loved his comedy from the days when these were made and I had heard him sing opera many many years ago. It's so good to hear his voice singing what would have been modern songs when recorded. Many thanks for the video.

I’m sitting in the dentist chair today getting my full dentures fitted and I had to explain to a couple of young female dental students that my teeth felt like the vicar character Dick Emery did. I had to show them this movie and then they knew exactly what adjustments to make for me 😂😂😂😂. And it gave me a good laugh.

Dick Emery paved the way for so many other comedy shows British and American and Irish. I loved watching this with my late mum and I still love it now. Such a talented man. And he's not bad looking either. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🇦🇺

I’m trying to find a sketch where he parks the car with nagging wife on a level crossing and runs away, when the train comes he looks away then the train crashes into the car, when it’s revealed, the car is perfectly intact with the train wreck on top and the wife gets out. Anyone remember it?
