Illenium is such a unique artist. I absolutely love his deep lyrics mixed with beautiful edm beats, it's unreal. Please check out Take You Down, it's my personal fav from him. I was thinking that when Ernest mentioned folks not liking the genre-there’s no way in hell a good producer could produce solid tracks without a strong understanding of musical theory or at least the special sauce that makes music such a beloved art form. I bet most have played an instrument(or three) at some point and likely studied music to a significant degree.
@@lanceb247Upload Exactly! EDM goes even further than musicality and introduces sound design/synthesis as well. By no means is it meant for everyone, but I can bang out a folk track on my guitar in 30 minutes but it takes me 10+ hours to make an EDM track because of it's complexity.

You should 100% listen to the full album because each songs ends is a perfect transition to the next song and this song comes literally at the end of the album. And the experience from start to finish is fucking beautiful
