Hello, I want to set the parameters of a variable frequency drive using a node through RS485 serial communication. In this project, I need to use the hexadecimal codes of an variable frequency drive and control the drive using the hexadecimal codes. Can you help me with this project with node-red-node-serial port?
Yes I use the Arduino IDE to program the ESP8266, if I'm using C++. You can flash MicroPython onto the ESP8266, in which case I'd probably use Thonny. My favourite IDE is Microsoft Visual Studio Code, however that isn't always the best environment for embedded systems.
Hi Kevin, is it possible such that we can have a automated flow creation, for example if we connect any no of temperature sensor it should dynamically create a flow which will add a temperature gauge to ui dashboard.
I have tried and tried and not given up. Many codes from many sources, different computers, different routers, etc. etc....etc... I am trying to get my esp8266's to connect to Mosquito MQTT server and it just won't connect. There must be some simple little thing that nobody has mentioned..
It's a great show, much effort required. Scope creep will always show up at last minute especially in live chat. Lets make an effort to keep him on track or go with the flow if it's interesting/relevant , we drive the system Kevin simply responds.
Thank you from Turkiye
Really great job Kevin .
The best video ever! Great job, Kevin!
Very detailed video, Thank you 🌸

thank you bro.
Are you connecting to the esp8266 with nod red directly and programming it or are you connecting nod red to A raspberry pi to read Data from a
Great video, thanks.

Are you on our discord server - if so share some screenshots of the error messages you get in the programming channel
I follow you every Sunday and like your show. But you should probably scale back on the scope for a single show. You clearly overstretched it here.
Thanks for the feedback. I’ll look at reducing the scope of future shows

Millennials prob.
Gen X-ers can handle it :)
Can you give me code??
Meanwhile at Boeing....(crickets)
I don’t get it?!
@@kevinmcaleer28 I don't either. This comment was added to a SpaceX video.
almost 2 hours of video wtf
You’re welcome
