As a young Automation Engineer I really enjoy this video. There was no such knowledge at the university, please more of this type of content. Peace from 🇵🇱✌🏼
Yeah, Node-RED is pretty awesome!! I have some IoT sensors in Vietnam and the US and all report back to an Influx DB and graph it with Grafana. Using NR to poll and process the data. Super short learning curve too!
Always good and simple content from Realpars. Quality Videos. I have been using Node Red for over a month now. Just watching this video , I learned several good points that should be take note for Node Red programmings.
Hey team realpars, I must say that your videos are of the top quality and it is easy to understand for a beginner like me. Can you please make a playlist for the iOt and cloud
Thanks a lot for your kind support and feedback! Very happy to read that. Regarding your suggestion about the playlist, I will happily go ahead and pass this on to our team.
Hi there, You can absolutely use Node-RED to gather and display production data. There are nodes available to communicate with PLCs (like node-red-contrib-modbus) and to display data (like node-red-dashboard). I can't comment on your specific use case since the details will depend on what PLCs you are using, what data you want to collect and analyse, and how all the devices are networked, but Node-RED is generally a reliable and low-cost solution for collecting and displaying production data. Hope this helps!
Hi there, This video was recorded with a UC20-WL2000-AC controller. This controller is included in the Weidmueller u-Control starter kit. You can find more information about the starter kit here: catalog.weidmueller.com/procat/Product.jsp;jsessionid=FAB04176328075AF3080D9F33B8166F8?productId=(%5b2666080000%5d)&page=Product Happy learning!
Hi Adnan, Thank you for your question! U-control has full support for the MQTT protocol and comes with some MQTT nodes pre-installed. If those pre-installed nodes aren't enough to meet your application requirements, you can always install additional nodes. Hope this helps
Thanks for your comment, Dapitan! I will happily pass this on to our course developers for a possible future video course. Thanks again for sharing and happy learning!
javascript it seems. im really amazed not all siemens plc have https support for get and post. at least. but ssh, ftp also are welcome. i cant wait till i can program plc with php :D got my own website, remote host. i can use it as a firewall and dataformatter, then i can create my own routes for plc. to fetch anything in any form. at moment i must rely on esp32 to signal plc what to do.
This is amazing but there’s a problem 😢 I don’t know how to write Java script codes is there a way to master red node without being involved in Java headache 🤦♂️💔
Do we have to send the alarm email to only Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise ? (Just kidding :) I appreciate you to explain simply and effectively what NodeRed & IIoT and weidmüller u-create studio are...
Hi Olsi, Thanks for your comment! We currently only provide our course videos in English, you are always able to turn on the English subtitles as that might make it a bit easier for you. Happy learning!
Great question, There are several nodes available for this purpose, such as “node-red-contrib-whatsapp-cmb”: flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-whatsapp-cmb You can find additional nodes by searching on the Node-RED website: flows.nodered.org/search?term=whatsapp&type=node

Thanks for the review.
Our pleasure!
Excellent Video
Glad you enjoyed it!

Can I use node-red to make a dashboard collecting data from a group of PLCs and analys the production data?

Hello from Detmold btw.
Hello there!
Wow. Nice.
Thank you!
Thanks for the video, does u-control platform support bi-directional MQTT protocol via Node-RED ?

your starter kit link does not work
We’re sorry for the inconvenience! The link has been updated. Please check it out now!
