I enjoy vicariously thrifting with you. ☺️
I'm so glad!
Thanks for sharing ❤
So much fun ......you inspire me❤
The stretcher would be a cool hammock.
your boys are so cute ,what a fun time, brings back memories of my lil boys now grown. They still love thrifting finding treasures. Your lil one is sweet so cute and happy to be shopping ,its a cute age. Nice family time and great finds ,would love to go there one day when I retire !!!
I’ve lived in Arkansas my entire life and never been there. I’ll have to check it out. I’m in love with the purple glassware!
Love your boy’s brought back my memories of my boys . Thank you for sharing ❤😊
Thanks for watching!
Fun day! Loved the stretched.
Us too!
Oh that display cabinet made with a window pane was INCREDIBLE!! I want one immediatley!🤣❤
What a fun day! Lots of cool stuff!! Glad you got to do this as a family!
I will definitely check out this antique fair!!
you should!
Looks like a fun day! i am in Missouri, will have to check the Junk Ranch out!
Fun video. It was like I was on the trip with you. Another good thing was I avoided the heat.
😂 Absolutely! I think you got the better end of the deal :)
Thanks for taking us along!
You bet!
This will get in your kids❤ blood..
Cool
Hello, from Texas. Loved your middle son's shirt !
You have a lovely family.
Thank you 😊
Oooooh. I definitely want to go there. I saw plenty I liked. 😉
You should!
That stretcher was too cool! It might be a great display piece for Memorial Day, maybe with a Red Cross safety kit and military uniform, etc. Loved everything!
I enjoyed seeing the back half since I’ve never made it back there! Being first in the gate has advantages and disadvantages. Long walk to the bathroom. 😂. Too far to wander and shop. Lol. Thanks for the nice comments.
Yep, I'm sure you stay busy and don't get much time to wander!
We love Evan
He's the best. lol. Thanks for watching Luke!
Melanie thank you so much for taking us along. I live in North Texas and first heard about Junk Ranch through you, and now I want to try to make the fall show(for obvious reasons lol). I love merchandising tins and have a tall Campfire marshmallow tin. No idea if its worth anything but now you’ve got me thinking!
Hi Melanie! I am the vendor of the second booth in your video. I had the ironstone pieces you were looking at. I remember seeing you and your family there but didn’t want to interrupt you while you were videoing. Thank you for coming by and liking our JuNK.
Awesome! Thank you!
Melanie, it was so nice meeting you and your family at Junk Ranch! I am a big fan of your videos. Thanks so much for putting in the picture of us together!
You are so welcome!
Seeing I'm a large wholesale succulent grower. I thought 🤔 that was pretty cool seeing your son pick out that cactus . Also seeing them used in vintage pots is a great way to display succulents
I really liked the bird bath sitting on top of the wicker table. Of course, would love to have the table as well! 😊
Thanks for sharing with us! Gosh, I really loved your goose decoy and what a fab price on it. Secondly I loved your old wood chest, beautiful and can be used in lots of ways.
The stretcher would make a good storage rack
We went on Saturday. It was also very hot but then poured rain which was hard on the vendors 😔 But we came away with some mid century end tables, lots of green glass & a lovely amberina swung bud vase. It was our fist time at Junk Ranch & worth the visit 😊
Yes . . . the rain on Saturday I heard was so bad! Glad you found some treasures though!
That wood dresser was absolutely beautiful ❤ just wow! I would bought that !!!!!
Right?!
AWESOME show.
We agree!
I recently bought a marshmallow tin I think from the 1920s it's tall and white but the one I really wanted was short white and rusty and much older but hundreds of dollars
What a fun video and great kids/family! ☺️💖
Thanks so much! 😊
Love the little square butter pats
Me too . . . I'm kinda wishing I would have bought them :)
❤
Thanks for the tour. Maybe next year I can go. So much to see!
I hope so!
Nice !!!
I liked the linens.
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks, I enjoyed seeing everything!
Glad you enjoyed it!
If I were to give my son 20 bucks at the chunk ranch, he would be immediately looking for the snack bar
Yep, I've got one of those too! His love language is prepared food :)
im new to your channel very nice video
Thanks and welcome!
hi Melanie I'm from southeastern ONt.Canada and I love your program!! just wished that when you are thrifting you'd tell us the prices they are asking when your film some items other then that way to go , and send me a prayer to get my business off the ground soon! thanks so much !!!!!!
I didn't get to go to Junk Ranch this year, so I really enjoyed your walk through.
Awesome! Thank you!
Fun video, thanks for letting me shop with you.
Any time!
I would love to be able to go to a place like that but number one I absolutely can't take hot weather and number two I have a really bad back that prohibits me from walking around but I really enjoyed watching you guys do it!
I am sorry to hear that… my mom is in a similar position. But I am glad I could virtually bring you along, and that you enjoyed the tour!
Love the ironstone pitchers. Great prices too! In Roundtop they would be $80-90.
Good morning from Savannah Ga
Good morning Allison! Thanks for watching!
I love your videos. So much fun and I learn alot. I have a question. If I brand my booth with blue and white vintage how do I add in the seasonal items such as Halloween?
Great prices on the ironstone pieces!
Yes they are!
im trying to learn the way to set the luggage set vintage style i bought one i want to build 3 also the basket not too many but set them nice any suggestions
My friend and I were there and saw you and your family having lunch and walking around. We should’ve said hello, but we didn’t want to bother you. It was so stinking hot!!! We didn’t get as much as we thought we’d get, but we had fun looking at everything. It was my first time coming to Junk Ranch. I bought several cast iron items and by the end of our trip my arms and shoulders were killing me!! Oh, I saw two Marshmallow tins, but I didn’t get one because they were around $125!! We plan to go again in the fall and hope to see you there. If so, we’ll definitely say hi!!
Oh I wish you would have said hi! And yes, it was SO hot. I think I saw the same marshmallow tins you saw . . They have been there for 2 or 3 shows now, and unfortunately are out of my budget. Glad you could make the trip!
My great aunt owed an old dry goods store for over fifty years. It was one of those old stores in an old building that had that wonderful smell. You know the smell I’m talking about? 😊 You could buy some canned goods, cheese, bolognese, crackers, overalls, white t-shirts, shoes, socks, dresses, pantyhose, fabric, notions, calendars, soda pops, candy, tobacco, snuff….you know the kind of stores that don’t exist anymore. You could find Aunt Dee sitting behind her antique register writing stories for Readers Digest. She ran her store until she was 92 years old. After her funeral, the family who lived out of town wanted to go through her house. Made me so mad. The only thing I requested was her teacher’s license since I was a teacher myself. She was a teacher when she got married in the 30’s to a man in the grocery business. They never had children, but she had 6 nieces and nephews. It didn’t feel right going through her personal stuff so soon. Then, when they came back a few months later to go through her store, I was working on my master’s degree and couldn’t be there. They either kept, gave away, sold or threw out everything. This was in 2005 when junk wasn’t as popular as it is nowadays. I would’ve saved some things because I loved antiques and vintage stuff back then too. Oh well. If you ever run across any old Reader’s Digest with stories by Dee Hunt, that’s my wonderful sweet great aunt Dee. ❤
I'm wondering if that "grape" purple glass dish set was actually a sun-purple phenomenon?
I had that Jokarj game as a kid. I’d have bought that! 😊
How do you play it?? I've never heard of it.
@@LostFoundDecor the base would have a red ball and a long elastic band attached. It is placed between two players and they hit the ball forward back and forth. Well, at least that’s the way we played due to hard surface restraints!
I skipped Junk Ranch this year. It was too stinking hot for me 😂
I will admit… it was HOT! Hottest I’ve ever been there
Is this just once a year or how often I would love to make it next year.
They have it twice a year Lola :) Once in the Fall and once in late Spring/Early Summer.
Use command strips to hang your duck
Thanks! I forgot about those
Glad I didn't waste my time going.
