Art Studio Update 🎨 Organizing Art Supplies in a Small Room ✨ Mini Studio Tour

Quick art studio tour because I've organized my art supplies with some new storage! After living with my sit/stand desk for a few months, I've learned what I needed to adjust to make my space work better for me. My art materials were taking over my (small) room, so I finally got some new storage to try and fit everything in one corner. Next step: new desk chair!

I have a tiny space too in my bedroom. It does have its challenges! Your solutions were very good. One thing that I have is a tall skinny book case that I use for books. You may be able to utilize that space on the side of your desk with a bookcase. I love mine. I also bought one of the Alex drawer units from IKEA and have it right next to my bed. I’m disabled and it makes it so convenient and easy for me to access my supplies. I love the Alex units! I also have taken advantage of my walls. Since I don’t have much floor space I try to use my walls.

Thank you!! I’ve been thinking about an alex unit as well, so I might end up going with that instead of the roller cart in the future. I kind of want to add shelves too but im worried about having to fix the walls when I leave the apartment 😂

I have a small apartment. I have had to figure out how to create in a small space.
What helps me is having all my storage the same color. And my not every day/ week/ what ik currently into supplies put in not clear containers to lessen visual clutter. The shelf you have on the right w the black storage boxes is a great idea. I think what's throwing you off is all Three of your rolling carts are different colors and different styles. The monitor id move off the desk
Maybe onto the wall. You need to go up. Weather thats shelves or a cool corner shelf for behind the monitor. A rug to define the area and catch paint lol. You have limited supplies so thats great. Theres alot you can do with the space. Those deep windows are beautiful!!!! Id definitely dress them up with some storage.

Thanks for your suggestions! And yes haha the different rolling carts have all unfortunately been acquired at different times for different purposes and I’ve ended up with 3 different types by necessity. I’m contemplating wall storage/shelves but a bit hesitant to install anything when I don’t know how long I’ll be in this space. It’s in the works, though! Next priority is a new desk chair, I’ve been using this one for for over a decade and it definitely wasn’t meant to last that long 😂
