How im the world does this video have so few views? That was brilliant work, hats off! And hats off to Leigh - not only for being able to play such a line (let alone at such a young age - he was ca. 21 back then if I remember correctly) but especially for comming up with it! That's quite incredible, I'd say. He's definitely underappreciated. All that said, I really don't like how he (along the rest of the band) treated Annabella in the long run. Why did they kick her out without even telling her remains a mystery.
Fantastic work in all aspects and an educational gem for any bass player. I really liked BWW as a young bass player at the time, when it first came out with the tribal rythmn undercurrent supported by these fantastic bass lines. I, same as yourself and thousands of other bass players I am sure, overlooked the at the time brilliance being played out within these tracks and focussed on the fusion players you have already named JP etc. Thankyou again, the transcription is excellent and helped me enormously in breaking down the apparent complexity.
Thanks for your encouraging comments. I'm glad the video was helpful. More than overlooking the brilliance of Leigh at the time, I think I was just stunned into silent non-comprehension; I knew it was technically way over my head at that time and so moved on. It's taken awhile to get to grips…😉
Thanks! Hopefully you'll be able to see the most important fingerings and positions in the demo sections. To be honest it's TAB that has always confused me!

Thanks for this, great work!
I found this video thanks to your Leigh Gorman short! Gonna learn it... one day. Maybe.
Hi @DannySapko Thanks for dropping by BEHS!. 👍Leigh's Wal tone is such a signature sound. Would love to hear your take on it someday.
Thank you for being bomd enough to dissect one of Leigh's phenomenal bass lines.
