- Hey guys!! In todays video I’m showing you guys what I have bought for my dorm room so far! I’ll be staying in a traditional double dorm room at Indiana University.

I love how excited and prepared you are! But please take it from me, I took about the same amount of throw blankets, and I maybe used one haha so don’t over pack.. by the end of the year you’ll just be excited to get out of there and lugging all that stuff back home will be a headache... good luck during your first year!

You're a lot more prepared for IU than I am. I've pretty much just got the basics, and my priorities consist of hygiene, class materials, and video games lol. I'm staying in the SICE LLC in Teter with my friend and it's pretty nice so I hope that moving in won't be a hassle. Maybe I'll see you around campus! (Probably not since there's like 45k people there) but if you stop by Teter we could connect! I'm Chip btw!

Make sure you wash everything ASAP. It’ll stress you out so much if you wait until right before you get to your dorm. 😁
I put my bed up on 4 cinder blocks. To create more storage space. Good place for suitcases and bulky items

Ngl as a junior in college you don’t need a bunch of throw pillows and blankets. Don’t buy a bunch of stuff you don’t need because dorm rooms are low on space. A lot of this stuff will probably go unused for most college students. My advice is start with what you need and if you think you need more stuff you can always buy it later in the semester or even on move in day

Hey girl, from my experience, you should get a laundry hamper that is collapsible it is easier to carry in the elevator or up and down stairs because the elevators at IU dorms break down pretty often. A heads up, the dorms are pretty small so I hoped you plan wisely 😄
