You have a beautiful voice! I understand the struggle with pronunciation, but man. Your voice just gave me chills! Wonderful tone. And your vibrato is perfect. And your volume (piano, forte, etc,) was wonderful throughout the piece. Great job!
Please be kind about the pronunciation, guys; this is how a lot of voice coaches teach it. As a midwesterner, I know. It's not her fault. It's silly, but that's just how it is. Don't hate the player, hate the game. HA. You have a lovely voice, chica. We gonna see you on Glee next year?
We're singing this song next month in my school, and so far this is the only version that actually matches the one in my book. Everyone else sings "Sebben crude- ele", as opposed to "Sebben crude-le-e" if you get that?
ufffffffffffffffffffffff, esa hermosa pieza la conoci cuando estudie el primer año de la carrera de musico, y aun sin ser cantante la estudie en la materia de conjuntos corales que no tiene nada que ver con estudiar canto, ya que en la carrera existe la materia de canto, y se trata de eso, de ser cantantes, conjuntos corales es otra cosa, yo soy pianista
It was mostly perfect but she made it more stylized, which, doesnt really go for the song, And its meaning, but other than that it was great. She didnt even attempt the glory note on the last amar, not that I blame her, its hard to transition to.
This is phenomenal. The pronunciation was superb, although it is different from most books, this was great, nonetheless! Ive been in choral music for nearly 3 years and we've done this song for Allstate Auditions. Lovely voice :-)
Plus I'm looking at the sheet music right now... there's an English version right under the Italian version... why not sing this one if you have trouble with Italian ? :O
You did a nice job. I've done this piece too. The only thing I would say is that your words do not match up with the rhythms exactly. You have some vowels that you are a little too bright on. "AY" is a difficult vowel to shape and to sound like you aren't a young singer. Also, you did have some intonation issues which are probably more of a placement problem more than anything. This song is a tragic piece of italian literature. Perhaps, if you perform the piece again, you bring it to life more.
This was by far the oddest interpretation I've ever heard.......... I'm speechless. But while everybody seems shaken by the pronunciation, my biggest question mark is why wasn't this sung using an operatic technique ? I mean, not that the girl has a bad voice or anything, but geez, it sounds so weird this way... like way too pop...? Anyways the girl herself is far from being bad, but that was.... doubtful.......
This would be so beautiful if the pronunciations were correct. I am a voice teacher and I teach this song on a regular basis. not only are the pronunciations off but they are aren't sung on the right beats and the phrasing is incorrect. Not the student's fault. Beautiful voice however. I'd love to show this video to my students based on the voice but the pronunciations prohibit me from doing so.
You have a beautiful voice, I just don't think that song was for you. The pronunciation was really off which allowed the proper notes of the piece to go flat. I know this because my vocal coach is teaching me this song for a recital coming up and I make some of the same mistakes with pronunciation. But other than that you have a good voice and keep practicing
I think its too low for your voice, and your type of songs wouldn't really be so much classical but rather broadway type of songs... I hate when people sing in a foregin language and do a terrible job at pronunciation so get that better before singing a song in another language. After all you do have material for singing and you're very beautiful. So good luck with everything.

Great job!
Beautiful! I might sing this for solo-ensemble this year in indiana!
Keep singing!
I have to sing this song for my competition and this solo sounds pretty good :)

getting the tune right would be a start.

@kaylanormansmusic 24 Italian Songs and Aria's. They have Medium High, Medium Low, and Low (I think). I work out of Medium High and Medium Low.
Voice needs to be covered more

Where did you get this sheet music? Is it in a book I can order? Because all I can find is the soprano part in italian books...haha
Timing is out

Get the tune right, the rythm, and the pronunciation is terrible.

Timing way out and voice needs to be covered!! More use of the mask n control use of the diaphragm and abdominal muscles!!
Pronunciation n diction can n pass
Uhm, your pronunciation is way off.
The diphthongs are terrible
Te falta mucha mas pronunciación
coś okropnego.
