Just got a 2025 Black Edition in Sonic Gray for $48,160 OTD including 6.25% tax, title, license, and fees. Also came with the black tailgate lettering, mudflaps, wheel locks, and window tint. 2.9% for 36 months.
I just bought my 2025 Black Edition. I sold cars as well as managed a dealer so I knew a couple tricks. I was able to get the sticker price of $48,645 knocked down $4,873. Got a beautiful truck for $43,772 and I am pumped. Had to pit a few dealers against each other which gave me an opportunity to drive it 100 miles home from the dealer. Once the paper work was signed and I had skipped all the back end purchases, I made a final request. I asked if the finance manager would allow me to see the profit screen which I am familiar with having been in the business. He was reluctant but said since I was in the business for almost 20+ years why not. Showed they made a $198 overall profit selling me the truck. A fair deal for an amazing truck. The ride home was even better than the deal!
@@DanDuck-mg5fw I checked on this having been in the business. This was the first month the 2025 came out and their was no dealer cash on the back end.
Great deal. That's what I paid in 2020 for mine, you won't regret it, absolutely zero buyers remorse on my part. Just got back from a camping trip that involved alot of highway miles and whiles it's capable offroad, there simply isn't a more comfortable highway truck on the market. I put a leveling kit, replaced the stock tires with BFG's and there hasn't been a decommissioned forestry road that has stopped us yet.
That's great to hear! I did a lot of research and test drives off all mid-size trucks. For the comfort, room, amenities, and functionality, it really wasn't a close competition. Thx
I knew a couple of people who used these in the oilfield traveling between North Dakota and Texas. One was constantly towing 4-5k pounds. Both loved them. I do wish they had not added the cylinder deactivation. I think my wifes Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek could follow one of the these offroad easily.
I have a 23 RTL... Bought it February 2023 .. I got $1500 off and free tonneau cover... Feb 28 and they needed one more Feb sale. I absolutely love the truck. I'm retired so i don't need a truck... so there's that 😊. If you don't need a large bed or to tow over 5000 lbs this truck can do a lot. I've driven in snow a few times and it's great. The ride is very good and the main reason I bought this truck.
I shopped recently for a 2025 Ridgeline Black Edition in Sonic Gray Pearl with MSRP of 49,100. The markdown was 3.5K, but the added addendum completely cancels out the discount. Crazy. In So Cal this particular model is in short supply, and finding one without the addendum is rare.
I have a 24 BE. overall i think the RL is good but at the BE 48k MSRP i would expect a few things to be exectued better as follows. Blind spot monitoring does not work below 20mph, come on thats so high should work to at least 6mph, so be careful on your slow merges. adaptive cruise control does not have stop and go, it does not work below 25mph. there is no hill descent control but a CRV does. wth. there are 4 rear parking sensors, two in the center and one in each corner but on the front they only put one sensor in each corner. there is not front center parking sensors so it wont detect a parking pole and most of the time it does not detect a car parked in front of you. there is no 360 cam or not even a front trail cam. the emergency braking is a tad bit over sensative it has gone off going around a curve with opposite traffic coming .. honda sensing seems like bare bones when comparing these same feature to other car makers.. its like honda touts the same tech but its like very low budget executed tech or really outdated tech. one final thing is the truck bed is really shallow and once you put a tonneau cover its only s 16inches of clearance, this should really be 20 inches.. i open when they come out with an all new RL that these all get executed better..also the turning radius is a little wide
Is it worth to get the RTL or trail sport over the sport? It will be a long term vehicle but just in case want to see which have better resale value. Thank you!
As far as resale? they all hold their value well. All are basically the same truck, engine, drivetrain... just boils down to the 'extras' you want. I think the RTL is the best value, as you get the leather seats and the sunroof, the black edition and trail sport just have some different looks. the trail sport gets worse mileage because of the suspension/tires they put on it. I still drive my 07 Ridgeline daily. Has 170,000 problem free miles on it. Just stay on top of the maintenance! If/when I replace mine, it will be with the RTL. My wife drives a pilot touring and I love the leather, sunroofs and heated seat.
@@Chadyp82 It sure would. And the locking trunk in the bed is such an amazing addition! no need to put a tonneau cover on! lock important stuff in the trunk!
Honestly dont know enough about this ridgeline to be able to pick out the changes very easily. I love the truck but since it wont work for my needs I dont pay enough attention to it to do that comparison correctly.

Dealership is trying to give me a deal for a Honda ridgeline sport. It would be a 3 year lease , 2,000 down, military discount, and trade in. My price would be 350 With tax out the door. Do you think I can could get them to come down anymore?
First off, Thank you for your service! that doesn not sound like a bad deal. But before you sign I would call 5 other honda dealers and tell them you are buying a ridgeline model "whatever" today and looking for the best lease deal you have been on the phone with a couple dealers and you are at 3 year lease 2k down and 315 a month first one that will hit 299.99 I will come sign today. even if the best you find is 310 a month your still saving 40 bucks. If you hit 300 you save 1800 off the lease cost vs the current deal. If nobody beats your 350 you know its the best deal.
I owned a 2017, loved it. But it was a disaster, fail after fail. Honda covered everything to their credit. Traded it at 95,000. I don't know if torque converted has been redesigned, this was a big issue with the truck. Fuel injectors were redesigned for 2020 model. I went thru 2 sets of injectors and torque converter went out by 90,000. My mechanic said the tranny was going next.
