I stayed with my aunt and her three little kids in February of 1968 at the hotel directly in front of the dealership, the Dallas Park Hotel. I was 17, From our window we could see a few cars, as they were parked on top of the building. Little did I know, as I was listening to the 1956 Elvis Presley album on my own record player at my hotel room, that Elvis had bought the Mark II in front of the hotel, almost 12 years earlier. Great video, and I am hoping you tackle my favourite Elvis car, the 1957 BMW 507. I can help you with the research, if you so wish as my research is amazingly complete. Incidentally, I was allowed to enter his former rented home in Killien, TX, the one at 605 Oak Hill Drive. All the best
Thanks a lot Jim! Great story about the Dallas Park Hotel visit. It must have been very interesting to visit Elvis' rented army home in TX. Elvis' BMW 507 in Germany is also one of my favorites. There are many conflicting storys about it online though. I do hope I have gathered correct info on it so far, so I'll appreciate help from someone like you who have done thourough research. I have about seven Elvis' Cars videos to go before I get to the cars he used in Germany. So I guess it'll take a few months before I try to tackle the BMW 507. I'll let you know! All the best
I had the same car in the exact colors , an excellent driving car but a bit cramped inside , the front seat doesn’t go back far enough for somebody of his height
This is the best news we've heard in years.
Elvis is so professional
My favourite car
Me too
Fabulous.
Is great story of a car
It sure is. An amazing car...

The captain in was one good looking car
Excellent! Very well researched. This answered many questions I had regarding this car's history.
Great, thanks so much for watching!
I have seen this car at Graceland several years ago. Thanks for not calling it a Lincoln.
The Lincoln had some miles put on it...without even being started up.
Yes, definately...
This was the only car Elvis had that had the registration "ELVIS-1"
Great information! Thanks.
@@carsofelvis your welcome 👍
Please do a review on Vernon's Model A Ford.
I will do a video about Vernons Model A and other old cars he bought.
This car is just way to important to ever leave Graceland...
Yes, definately!
