Honestly i find that most people that make death threats and is mentally ill over a game means they're not just deranged but more likely a gambling addict and everytime they lose their bets they just go ballistic cause they probably lost their money, so for me people who send those are just either one of those choices cause a real fan would say exactly what you said and move on

No, not at all, he played the same. People hang on the fact that he wouldn't build an item that a bunch of low ranked trash thought would be good. When in reality if you break it down, count all the damage he did against Ksante and instead of his BT replace it with LDR, the numbers are miniscule and wouldn't have made a difference. The issue was G2 as a team and their comps, Bel'veth made no sense what soever, she couldn't duel the lee, she couldn't gank, she couldn't capitalize on their advantage.
The amount of brainrot and bias from fans of any sport is mind numbingly stupid.

It's a regular thing for T1 tho even when they're winning, especially Faker. I remember LCK launching an investigation because he got death threats when they defeated KT in the summer 2023 lower bracket finals.

I don't know about T1 Vs KT result the previous year, but if you read the comments about Hans Sama, a lot of EU fans just talking about MSI, they were angry and pointing out why, addicted gamblers usually just go straight to insult when they lost their bets, they won't say why didn't you buy that item. EU fans were also hating on Noah. In LEC, the fans of KC they were also very angry whenever their team lost or someone said something negative about their team.
That's how the LEC fans are currently, it seems.
Every time T1 plays, either Chinese bot accounts or European korean team haters spawn like zerglings and spam in Twitch chat that Faker sucks or is washed or the usual "Shaker" chat. I get it. You dont like him. But some people live to chat about how bad faker is every chance they get. Theres just so many bot like accounts who say the same thing in chat.
You're part of the reason t1 haters are thriving. Been admiring t1 and faker for like a decade but i absolutely cannot stand their fans spreading toxicity while playing victim. The amount of death threats faker received from t1 fans for playing poorly makes a harmless "shaker" joke a nothing.

For 2022, 2023 LPL regular seasons, multiple LCK fanboys would comment on Onivia and Kaza highlight videos calling the teams trash and bad etc. You have no idea what goes on.

Why does everyone seem to forget that T1 vs G2 also happened in 2022 ? Yea it was a quick 3-0 for T1 so some would rather forget it, but everyone is trying to push the 2019 narrative as if T1 are the one to seek revenge on G2 and not vice versa.

To give some context :
T1 has had a wave of DDoS attacks over in Korea, leading up to MSI, which really ruined the team morale and their ability to practice.
In MSI, T1 has been uncharacteristically sloppy, usually they are on top of contesting dragon and baron but recent games have them giving the objectives or failing to contest them entirely. Not only that, Faker has been jumping from champion to champion that you'd normally never see him play, some series went on to have him play 3-4 different mid laners.
Its the best chance for any team to beat T1. They are the weakest they've been in a LONG while. So G2 being able to beat them is understandable since G2 is arguably one of the best teams in the west and internationally.
T1 got a whole truck sent on their HQ doorstep for losing a match on a bo3 or bo5
Tbh, when you said death threats, I thought it was the aggressive Chinese fans again after G2 won. They organised an event to attack T1 fans at Worlds last year after T1 ran through their remaining teams.

Sending death threats is online is just the the stupidest thing to do. no matter the reason. However it is a small step from the regular cultural phenomenon of flames everything and everyone in game. It is sadly part of the community and also partly created all players including the pro's. The step of going a step to far ingame chat to typing something to someone on Twitter is a way to small one IMHO

I've watched 2 costreams of that series and nobody called him out

why would you flame him, G2 lost first game because they lost the flow after 2 back to back pauses, then in 2-1 they lost the whole game because of a Bard bug, that snowballed the game into oblivion essentially making the game into a 5 game series instead of 4 and even then Lord Dominik's might not have been enough because there was a certified Ksante moment every teamfight in the 5th game where Zeus literally 2 hit Hans if he could not flahs away.
While death threats are insane here, acting like a bunch of people that have so much social anxiety they can't even leave their homes are ACTUALLY threatening is also insane lol.
