But what happens when one half of the duo is only tangentially aware of the other?
For a long time, League’s biggest streamer idolized his favourite player from afar. Caedrel has always loved TheShy, but for years, TheShy knew nothing about him. But despite the lack of reciprocation, and TheShy's worsening results, Caedrel’s affections never wavered.
So, why is Caedrel so obsessed with TheShy? Why is TheShy so obsessed with inting? And did these star-crossed bros ever get a happy ending?

A little bit of correction, T1 did kick Caedrel out but Caedrel has stated how Joe Marsh (T1's CEO) was more than understanding and accommodating to finding new places for him to co-stream. Staying in the T1 office while cheering for the opposite team is also a little dangerous for him as well considering how insanely crazy T1 fans can get.

The power of Caedrel is that he's just like you and me. A weird little gamer who loves League of Legends. He doesn't put on an act, he's his usual awkward self until he's immersed in the game and the real him comes out. He's a treasure to the scene and deserves every bit of success coming his way.

His devotion to TheShy is what made me think that Caedrel might be one of the brightest mind in LoL community. Since beginning of 2023, I have heard him saying TheShy will make it to Worlds and win it. All LPL fans went all in for JDG and BLG, no one spare their attention to WBG or even TheShy. When WBG really reached Worlds Final, Caedrel stood at the top among all League analyst in the world. He literally is the only one who have saying it since beginning of 2023.

if you think theshy is inting when he dies, just have no idea how the game works. Hes that player that at his peak the tournament look like his soloq highlights and years later still able to carry 4 monkeys to worlds FINALS, just for his coach to decide let enemy team counter pick him every game and let other teammates 'carry'.
It's kind of hilarious how the co-stream from the arena was meant to be a one-of bandaid solution for the worlds final matches and now he regularly gets a seat just like that during the LEC season, basically whenever he isn't casting or doing official analysis (happens rarely these days) he's still there more or less on Riots dime, usually raking in more average views than the official LEC streams on either platform. Not sure if that was a genius decision or if they sort of shot themselves in the foot.

We all have our fav players in whatever sport were into. Players like theshy and adam are fun to watch. Cadreal spot on with his choices. Fallen god? my brother in christ TheShy was THE best top laner in worlds 2023, singlehandedly carried that team of bums to the finals and T1 Needed 2 counterpicks and perma camp 3 man top side all game long to keep my boy at bay.
in a year or two people will look at the names of that WBG 'super team' and think theshy shit the bed in finals...they won't remember how BAD xiaohu played the entirety of worlds or how crisp underperformed (his bard and heimer were straight up bannable).. theshy really did carry that team - his finals performance wasn't it but neither did a single WBG member really perform (even though they saved counter picks for them)
