I'm Japanese and I do play football for my highschool. It's extremely competitive and there are only few that becomes a pro. Some teams are sponsored by Nike Football just like the team Aomori Yamada (strongest highschool not only in football but also in table tennis) like these guys play against Inter Milan u-18 or other strong teams. To play for school like these, you have to be scouted. Schools like these also play in the Japanese u-18 club tournaments at the highest level which is called Premier Leagues...they play against Tokyo FC, Kashima Antlers and other strong Japanese teams

Making it into the first 3 divisions is almost impossible, but there are lower semi-pro leagues. It's literally one search away.

To avoid Copyright strikes. You must be new to this Channel. Check out their coverage during EURO 2016. NTV (the japanese channel that broadcasts the tournament), for some reason, is highly strickt with some sports events (and High School Soccer is one of those) if they put some footage, NTV would shut down the video instantily
Another stupid thing that NTV does is the fact that the videos and highlights that they produce for the tournament are Japan only
