      I’m dying to do the North Idaho Rails-To-Trails soon: pedegoelectricbikes.com/vacation/north-idaho-rails-to-trail-tour/ . What’s your relation with Pedego?

    I really enjoyed watching your video, very relaxing and informative. I am e-bike the same trails with my family this summer and am also lodging at Ruby’s (it seems like they own the whole town lol). I was wonder which e-bike you would recommend for us. We have no experience with e-bikes and am wondering if there is any big difference. Thank you!

      It would be very hard for me to pick an e-bike for you. There are huge differences based on whether you will mostly ride dirt trails, or paved or if you need an enduro like the Luna Cycle e-bikes we are riding.

    A great video. I would suggest that you stop at the stop signs. It will help you not to play the victim later when you get hit.

    Very nice...any bears mountain lion?

    • @BikeRidez
      @BikeRidez  9 місяців тому +1

      Ha! From what I understand mountain lions are very rarely spotted in Red Canyon or Bryce. The route we took in this video was paved and pretty well traveled to tourists. I would suspect that most creatures don't go near it...

    We leave for our Utah trip next Friday! Can this trail be done on a regular mountain bike! What’s the elevation gain?

    • @BikeRidez
      @BikeRidez  Рік тому

      This can be done on any bike. There is very little elevation gain. See video description for Trailforks link with more info.

    I see you’re on the Luna X1. Do you have the 750 watt or 2000’watt motor? Silent gear or stock gear? Right now I have an Aventon Aventure but I’m thinking the Luna X1 will be my next ebike. I see you put a lot of miles on yours, any issues or regrets getting the Luna X1?

    • @BikeRidez
      @BikeRidez  3 роки тому +1

      I have the Luna X1 with Ludicrous (2,000 watt) upgrade. My girl has the X1 without this upgrade. The motors and batteries on both bikes are the same. The 2,000 watts come from a controller modification that Luna Cycle makes that blasts 2,000 watts peek into the motor. Both of our bikes have the silent gear modification.
      I've put 1,600 miles on the bike since March. The only issue I had was a blown silent gear. There are a couple of videos I posted on this. I believe the broken gear was a freak issue which you can see happen in the video. Never the less, I broke the motor on a Sunday, shipped it back to Luna on Tuesday and it was fixed and back at my door by Saturday. Luna's support is excellent. A lot of people have been messaging me asking why they are always out of stock. The reason the bike is so cheap is because you pre-order the bike (paid up front). Luna uses all the money to purchase a container full X1's. Thus they only do this about 3 or 4 times per year. The next order period should be this month (November). The bikes will sell out in less than a week so you have to jump on it. It usually takes about 2 months after you order before you get the bike, but the last X1 we bought took nearly 3 months with the shipping crisis. The bikes sat in in the harbor for almost a month. I'm assuming that it will be even worse this next time. Gary the customer service manager for Luna told me a few weeks ago that Luna will be announcing a new EMTB as well as some other news about the X1 in the next coming weeks. Sign up for their blog announcements for more info.

      @@BikeRidez thank you for the response I really appreciate it! The Luna X1 is definitely the bike to get from what I’m seeing! And that’s a crazy amount of miles on your bike you should be proud of that! 👍🏼

      @@TravNasty520 LUNA is now selling the X2 which has a better frame and a bigger battery. I ordered mine three weeks ago and got it one week later. I am loving it except for the cheap fork and heavy wheels.

    How long did it take you to do the Bryce multi-use trail and then how long did it take you to ride to Red Canyon and back? Trying to plan our times with our toddler riding with us.

    • @BikeRidez
      @BikeRidez  Рік тому

      If I remember correctly the multi use trail took us maybe 4 hours (round trip) including a lot stopping for filming and exploring/reading and just staring in awe… As for Red Canyon, I think less than 2 hours round trip with extra time spent filming …

    While you make great videos I have to comment on one thing. You ladies seat needs to be raised. It is way too low and she would get way better power if her seat was at the height as recommended by most bike tuners.

    • @BikeRidez
      @BikeRidez  2 роки тому +1

      This is regular comment. She took a couple of falls with the seat up high and since then she has been hesitant to keep it up. Also keep in mind that 1) when we are shooting these videos we often stop frequently to setup camera so we are on an off the bike. In addition, her bike has 1,200 watts of power so, you really don't worry about pedal power needs!

    It would be better if you didn't continue to say you are "in Northern Utah" because the park is located in SOUTHERN Utah.
    Like telling people to plan a trip to Northern California to go to Disney. You're sending people to the wrong end of the state.

      Yeah man I realize that now but you can’t go back and change a video once it’s posted.
