    Brilliant guidance with rich insights. Thank you Ajit. Two questions: 1) What do you suggest if one discovers that their niche is not profitable? Does one redo the steps again and restart the quest? Maybe explore multiple potential niches in parallel? 2) Parallel to searching for one's niche, the best way to become a better coach is to coach. So do you suggest that one continues coaching "everyone" while searching for their niche?

    Thank you Ajit, I am a coach, who is a niche in the healthcare business coaching, especially now healthcare tech. This market works for me. I am now needing to recruit more business coaches to grow my business model. Been doing this for 9 years, although I could do another business coaching, I prefer to do healthcare business mentorship. I have been in healthcare for 30 years, and having my own healthcare business, I felt it was the best solution to serve business owners in healthcare. I help by understanding what they go through in their business because I have been there myself. I do need to find where the coaches are that are looking to find a niche. This is very informative, love the learning from Mind Valley. I will go to the groups, you mentioned. Thank you, Ajit

    Freaking so clearly explained. Thank you, as always. Let's say that you have a pretty good handle on the Niche that you'd like to begin your coaching career with. Can you tell me how to come up the name of the type of coach that you are, that entices that niche but doesn't turn off everyone else? How to be clear but still accessisble to everyone?

    • @mindvalleycoach
      @mindvalleycoach  2 роки тому

      That's a great question, Jamie! You can name it based on the results you create (eg. if you help clients perform better, performance coaching), but we'd argue that your message is more important than the "name" itself. Your message is what will make you stand out from the coaching crowd and what will attract your ideal clients to you (we recommend watching this video about how to craft your message: ua-cam.com/video/3VMHZXXKtfU/v-deo.html). And remember the purpose of having a niche. If your message speaks to everyone, then how will your ideal clients find you? We hope this helps ❤

    Do you start these conversations on social? I live in a tiny town and don’t know anyone in real life that is my perfect client! Also, can you do a video about that? How to make connections outside of your community and known network? 💛🙏💛

      Great question, Gwen! You can definitely create clients both online and offline. Since the pandemic, especially, online coaching has grown massively as it also allows coaches to have clients anywhere in their country or even internationally. Here are 2 videos on how to get clients online that can help you get started: ua-cam.com/video/A2Rl9F6okdc/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/C3LXjhCORVY/v-deo.html. Let us know if that helps! ❤

    I’m a functional medicine health and life coach who works with professional women with school age children and a health concern. (If I had to get specific about the health concern I would say with Hashimoto’s or autoimmune disease) That are looking to optimize their health and increase energy with food and lifestyle choices. Examine mindset, behaviors and beliefs to unlock their potential and a sense of purpose, and create a self love practice to gain clarity and confidence and set and hold boundaries.
    When we prioritize gut health and self care, and follow my method of coaching clients experience an increase of energy, health and vitality, and autoimmune diseases go into remission!
    Does this make sense?

    • @mindvalleycoach
      @mindvalleycoach  2 роки тому +1

      Wow, what a powerful mission, Gwen! We love how specific and clear you are about your chosen coaching niche, and exactly how you would serve and create results for them. We don't have firsthand data, but it seems to be a profitable choice. You would be able to confirm if you've already had several clients or if you follow the steps in the video to confirm your niche is profitable. Regarding your messaging, being specific is great for you but it could be challenging to communicate this to your target clients. We recommend watching this video to turn this description into a one-sentence, clear message to share with potential clients: ua-cam.com/video/3VMHZXXKtfU/v-deo.html. Thanks for sharing ❤

    What about niches that don’t seem to be profitable? My experience is in the faith space but I have heard and personally know it’s not one people would pay for, typically.

    • @mindvalleycoach
      @mindvalleycoach  2 роки тому

      Great question, Winter! It would be important for you to have access to your niche and define if they are an audience who want a solution (and are willing to pay for it), or not. If they are not, then you can think about other places, maybe even other pain points your ideal audience might have and shift your niche accordingly. Let us know if that helps! ❤

    Is 'business coach in making money online with a side hustle' enough of a niche?

    • @mindvalleycoach
      @mindvalleycoach  Рік тому

      Great question, Noa! We suggest being as specific as possible, so maybe honing in into what "making money online" and "side hustle" means, what kind of entrepreneurs and what do they do? We hope that helps!

    You definitely don't need a niche.

    • @mindvalleycoach
      @mindvalleycoach  Рік тому

      Never? We'd love to understand your POV :)

    • @kevinlawrence9553
      @kevinlawrence9553 Рік тому +1

      Correct, never. Having a niche is both non-essential and not helpful for having a thriving coaching practice.
      If you want to be an internet marketer or have a product to sell, then sure, have a niche.
      But coaching is different. Coaching is about *being service*.
      If you want to have a thriving coach, devote your time and attention to being in service, which looks like having conversations with people, spending time in their world, wondering how you could serve this ONE person, inviting people to *experience your coaching*. (rather than devoting time and attention to figure out what your niche is or working on your website, elevator pitch, business cards, etc.)
      Your niche will be discovered and revealed to you as you be in service and coach people.
      I see many many struggling coaches (and I was one of these) spending time working on these 'marketing things' (because they think they *should*) instead of SERVING PEOPLE.
      And I see that when coaches slow down and serve one person at a time their businesses start to take off.
      You can create a client TODAY with no niche, no website, no elevator pitch by finding ONE person to serve and then serving them.
      Most coaches don't want to do marketing, they just think they should.

    • @mindvalleycoach
      @mindvalleycoach  Рік тому

      @@kevinlawrence9553 Interesting approach, Kevin. We do agree with you that coaching is about being of service. And one of the best ways to discover your niche is - exactly - by being of service and finding what type of clients you resonate with most (which still eventually ends in having a "niche").
      But while not having a niche can be a great strategy for more experienced and seasoned coaches, we find that it actually makes it harder for new coaches to build their coaching businesses. Coaches can spend months and years trying to serve everyone and anyone, but that ends up making their communication and messaging very confusing and blurry. Ideal clients can't find them because they are speaking to everyone and not addressing their ideal client's wants and needs.
      When you have a specific ideal client in mind, you can focus your efforts on activities that will yield the most results in attracting the right clients to your business. We believe if you know who you're serving, it's easier to do everything else - whether you want to actively "do" marketing or not.
      So, yes, of course, you can create a client today with no niche... But is it the best way to go in the long run? ;)
