Peter thanks you, our audience, for your support, comment and stories. Wild turkeys visit the homestead and Peter begins the process of putting food down for the winter. He harvests squash, onions, peppers and carrots. He discusses food security and the practice of planting victory gardens during WWII. Before storing the carrots in the root cellar, he sorts them and stores them in peat moss (which is reused every year).
Peter then continues his construction of the outhouse by his 1700's settler's cabin. He runs into a problem fitting the door.
