Just a theory, but I believe the guy in this music video is a loner and manifests this female personality in his head to fill this loneliness. He welcomed and nurtured her, allowing for the female personality to grow and eventually take over him. This is why she looks very much like the mc and explains why in the last chorus around 2:39 the mc starts saying contradictory things. He’s fighting this second psyche. This is why he’s distraught and saying stuff like get out of my head, but still grinning and saying stuff like “come on.” Pretty sure he eventually loses this fight. This also connects to him being destroyed by his own creation.

Do you get the feeling that his recent songs are getting more personal? Before they were social commentaries, dark fantasy stories, all with a rebellious and liberating vibe to them. But now it feels more calm, grounded and sentimental. The angst is still there, of course, but it's much more subtle, like an annoyance from a friend when you won't stop poking fun at them.

Some theory
Considering the name FrankenX and some subtle meanings. I can confidently say that this is about Frankenstein complex where the creator fears its own creations to rebel against them.
Fun Fact:
Papperlapapp is a German word for nonsense/rubbish. So the nurse is either only saying nonsense or the nurse thinks that what ever the doctor is saying is nonsense.
The MV shows the doctor being anxious, depressed, and seems to be wary about the nurse which we can deduce as his creation. The nurse seems to be provoking the doctor, teasing him and making fun of him. We can trace this all back to Niru whose "fear of his own creation" becomes more common on his music, first was Ironina and now FrankenX.
Edit: I came up to another thought that the nurse is a doctor's psychological creation like an alter(We can see this with how the doctor's mole on his left eye is reversed on the nurse's). Considering he created this nurse persona, the franken complex still applies. From what I can gather, the nurse persona is trying to takeover the doctor's mind as a whole which is why the doctor is scared of this as he will lose his individuality. We can see this on the first chorus where the doctor considers the nurse as "the Parasitic-You" as this nurse is literally living on his head rent free which slowly turned into "Ministering-You" which just means that the nurse has fully taken over him. Additionally, on the first chorus he also said how he "gonna be gone suddenly" which could mean that the nurse persona take over his body without him knowing.
Very insightful analysis, I especially like that psychological creation theory, I think it makes a lot of sense.
Aside from the mirroring mole, even at first watch I’ve also thought that the nurse looks pretty much like the doctor (build, face shape, eye shape, etc) - with slightly longer eyelashes and colored lips that could just be added makeup - and thus quite literally “the spitting image of him.” They say that god made man in his own image, and here, the doctor is playing god. He awakened her with a “transient kiss” as well, which could refer to god breathing into the face of his creation the breath of life.
The betta fish that appears at 1:42 is also interesting, considering they are the longest-domesticated / bred fish iirc with a tendency of aggression.
Not sure if that contributed anything to the discussion but I just thought I’d mention my observations on those additional motifs lol (I’m not even a Christian)

@@TwinkCookies , your nicely perceptive analysis is also quite ostensibly accurate as Loveless Dinosaur's. It fits the postulation of what the MV's trying to exhibit. I most definitely agree with both since the many motifs in this seem to correlate to Niru's fear of his creation and being taken over like in Ironina.
I like the psychological creation theory too. It really looks like that, the mole is one thing but we can see the doctor being in a bathroom most of the time, looking at the mirror.
Another thing is that they never interact directly, there's no real physical touch between them. Yeah, the kiss thing seems to be something but maybe is more of a psychological thing.
There are two moments that looks like the nurse is a fragment of himself, at 1:02 they're side by side but the colors of the environment of the nurse aren't the same, it's all in black and white, also, if you look closely, the environment is the same, probably the "bathroom", but they're mirrored.
The nurse can move, but when he looks at her, she goes away. Of the mirror, of his mind, he's losing his mind and she's taking over, because she's is his creation or maybe a side of him that want to be free.
Also at the end, they're looking at each other, directly, but the positions of the hands indicates that they're their own reflections, he's looking at the mirror and she's at the other side. Until she seems to take over.
I think the Frankenstein Complex, as you described it, is being applied to a relationship. The nurse represents the doctor's partner who has, through trapping him in their relationship by means of discrediting his feelings/reservations (I.e. the papperlapapp reference), made the doctor a husk; someone devoid of individuality; someone who cannot function outside of the relationship. The nurse's kiss (her affection) will bring the Frankenstein she's made of the doctor to life, yet, only for a short time as it is a "transient kiss". Without it, the doctor is a empty, unmoving husk waiting to be made animate (the "bad kiss" that the doctor askes to be comforted by again). He doesn't want the kiss, but he, at this point, needs it. It's love's fault that it (the relationship) has gone bad, as the doctor stays because of love, despite what it's done to him.
This would explain things such as the "ugly patched heart" that the doctor wishes to have broken quickly (wanting to be freed from the relationship).

一人ぼっちの怪物はもう一人女性の怪物を博士に作ることで人間に外を及ぼさないと約束しようとするんですよね。そうしたら一人じゃなくなるから。化け物で人外の自分の孤独をなくしてくれる事と殺すことで孤独を無くしてくれるっていう2つの意味が含まれてるのかなって思いました。
煮ル果実さんベースの中の1:25からのはるまき節が、浮くどころかめちゃくちゃ良いアクセントになってて更なる中毒性を生み出してて、控えめに言って感動した…
コラボ曲って片方の個性が打ち消されちゃってることもあるから個人的にあまりいいイメージ持ってなかったけど、これ聴いてちょっとイメージ変わりました

I love the beautiful contrast between Flower & Miku's tuning, & ofc the aesthetic MV! Still a bit confused about the nurse though, are they the doctor's creation or just the doctor's reflection (desired form?) since their mole under the eye looks like a reflection of each other 🤔 Since Frankenstein Complex means fear of the creation rebelling against the creator, so maybe something like the doctor is afraid nurse will take over themselves??

Omg I love how you can hear their own distinct styles and qualities in the song as well as parts where it’s a hybrid of both their different quirks. Love this!
All this time, I thought this was a song about a heart turned new, but the music video might be about a crossdresser/transgender person (possibly about transgender man who wishes to rid the existence of their past self, but most likely a transgender woman who is trying to erase the desire to be a woman) because their face shape and the moles line up in the reflections. Considering they're in a restroom, the end sequence makes sense that they are against what looks like a screen between them- the mirror.
The desire is the kisses ("I can't stop thinking about you" in the second chorus), which becomes more and more addicting each time, the Frankenstein reference is about how you have to have surgery for features of the opposite sex, or just in general hide parts of yourself when crossdressing. They seem keen on removing the girl at the end of the first chorus, and she gets shoved out of frame while reaching out. To further this, she appears during the line that refers to her as "Parasitic-You."
Also I can think of another theory since they used "Frankenstein Complex" that follows into a more literal version of the video as well as lyrics, but it could just be me reading too far into it.

I'm looking at my dictionary and noting that related words mean things like, to attend to the wants and comforts of someone, to serve, to do things needful or helpful. The desire to be a woman is so comforting, but so terrifying, and draining when you're trying to live closeted. When she is pushed out of frame, the protagonist claims to not need "dreams come true."
While the protagonist wears loose clothing that obscures the body, the girl wears a more form-fitting dress that shows her body is android, male-shaped, and so trying to transition would make the protagonist more painfully aware of how their body doesn't quite fit right for what they want. I hope the protagonist transitions in the end and 'lives on again' more happily.
