I think w is what differs a good gwen vs a bad gwen. A lot of people just leave the circle but you should always stay at the edge if it with extended attacks. Nice that you noticed it in this video
In the sake of precision, I'd argue the most important thing is not to stay at the edge, it's rather to keep as many enemies as possible outside of the W as long as possible. Sometimes both me and my enemy are at the edge of my W, and I E diagonally to move the W next to the enemy while still being able to kite them
I'm glad that Honeyfruit rune is mentioned even if it is recommended as a rune when you are behind. I always take it though instead of Nimbus Cloak. Extra movement speed is nice but I like getting gold advantage and extra heal more.
U get gold buy getting kills…. And the cloak is import for her in a team fight! And if u hav it, u can force flashes out of champion early game … than call jungler and profit. In 40 seconds u can solo kill the fool again bc he has no flash There not a lot of champions that can 1v1 her. Garen it’s the only one that can bully her, bc of the Q Well I’m top 50 gwen, barely loss lane.
Thats the first time i watch almost an hour wildrift vids (except tierlists) but its pretty good. Im actually like to play gwen on jungle or lane. I would definitely interested if you make an ultimate shen guide split-push centered while also aiding allies "whenever" needed. Also if you can explain how Chinese can utilize shen compare to apac teams is also great to know. Good day stu 🔥🔥
I'm surprised you didn't mentioned Amaranth Twinguard as an alternative tank item, I see it relatively often. Is it that you don't find it worth, or you just didn't think of it? There's also Spirit Visage that has been used in the past as an MR item because it works well with Gwen's vamp. I wonder if it's still an interesting item. Anyways, thanks for the video! It's really interesting to see what you say about her, and I'm also glad to see her have some attention (although I'd like her not to have to much to avoid her being banned 👀 😛)
19:30 no!!! The 1st ability is a great choice as first ability, but not always the best one. The 3rd ability gives you mobility while still giving on hit extra damage and attack range. It doesn't do as much damage as the 1st one, but allows you to play safer. I choose it against ranged champions since I can't stack easily the 1sr and it allows me to get to them if I need or escape after taking a minion, or champions against which positioning is important (like an Aatrox, preventing it to take me off guard with his 1st). In short, 1st for dps, 3rd for mobility.
