Just realised that they just sampled the LPTV intro sound.
Now I know where the sound at the end of the LPTV episodes comes from: as simple as Mike putting the end of his finger over an exposed headphone jack. And then he says: "let's sample that real quick" haha
Actually mate most of the beats you hear on lptv are from different remixes and samples in their underground albums

Hey, that's Ethan Mates, he's an engineer working in Los Angeles. He's been Linkin Park's in-studio engineer since Minutes To Midnight. He's also mixed some of their b-sides/LPU CDs and some of their live broadcasts (Madison Square Garden, Transformers Red Square Show, etc). Hope that helps!

This is why I love Linkin Park!!!!! They can make the most awesome and interesting noises from the most unexpected things you can think of, and they don't give a stuff what people think about it :P They are just doing what they love!!! Unlike a lot of "musicians" these days who make the same boring songs over and over.....

like the other guy said. u have a loop, record it, and u load it on to some kind of external device, add a bunch of effects and when u like it i record it back on to pro tools.
And thus, the lptv intro & outro was created.

I would guess just by running the amp in to an external sound card with inputs for an amp like that. Pro tools recognizes the amp and records it back in to pro tools. just like how you would record a guitar, synth or whatever it is you want to record. Plug it in to your external sound card (:

what program do you use? I make songs and stuff and I use Reason and Ableton.
@SmartzwithPartz If you could just show me the part where i said "they have more mature lyrics now"? I'm referring to the aggression in the early albums (Meteora, Hybrid Theory) that's gone and was replaced by stuff that would be more suitable for a bigger crowd (= more popularity = pop)
Looks like you're experimenting. That's what XPiRiMiNT is all about :) cause even a headphone cable buzz could be worked into your song with the right mindset and effects. I have some things in my music you wouldn't believe was a guitar or me screaming until I pulled all the effects off. The possibilities are limitless
