For some reason the Mesa pack is not working for me after following every step and put mesa at home directory. If I put Mesa script in Launch option then the game won’t run. If I delete that and only leave the second half of the script it runs. Game exe added directly to stream, compatibility forced to proton experimental
I have a question, will this mod work for god of war or rdr2? And if so is the process the same? You made another video on red dead a couple months back but this new dlss enabler mod looks a bit better

I think between Lenovo and Assus because I don’t have games on Steam, I played mostly on Xbox, so i have a game pass there. I installed Alan Wake 2 with Lutris but, when I go to install the textures mod, Alan Wake 2 doesn't show up as a non-Steam game, only the Epic Games launcher. Do I need to uninstall it and reinstall it with the Epic Games launcher to get it to show up? Thanks.
@GrownUpGamingGUG I installed Alan Wake 2 with Lutris. It shows up in Steam and I can play it just fine. But some textures are missing and I want to install the textures mod to fix those. But, when I open ProtonTricks, Alan Wake 2 does not show up as a non-Steam game. The Epic Games launcher does, but not Alan Wake 2.
Ok now I think I understand, thanks. I think it's because you installed the game with lutris and you're using wine instead of proton so protontricks can't recognize, it is normal since you're not using proton. You can use winetricks built in lutris to do the same thing. Hope it helps.
@@GrownUpGamingGUG how do I get to winetricks? When ProtonTricks opens, it wants me to select a game and doesn't give me an option to change to winetricks.

Hahahah. This game runs/looks like trash on Steamdeck . Such a a good looking game to only have it play on that device 😂. Yuck... Rog Alley, LegionGo, and pretty much all the handhelds can play this game with the need for the mods to work. Even if you do choice to do it.,but you don't have to deal with Compatibility issues & busy work just to get a mod to work. For a console like experience, that valve & and the linux cult brag about it's a contraction.

Maybe if I switch to the beta or preview channel it could work? Again I can get the fsr3 mod to work when I just run that command, but not the two of them together. Any idea what I could have done wrong?

How do you remove specific non-steam games prefixes? Have you tried 70hz mod with frame gen?

I've not had that so I'm not sure what happened really. Do you have any other mods installed? Do you have the mesa-git drivers to fix textures?
