I will be the first to admit that this here video is not the most well put together one I have ever done... 😅 It's random, it's like three types of videos at one time without committing to any of them fully and I didn't talk all the nuance like nightmare amulets or shadow thuribles. This was purely a spur of the moment thing that I seriously just threw together from memory but I still hope it entertains, explains and shares some new information with some of you!
my boyfriend and I were talking about it and we think that Charlie may actually be the STAGEHAND. Think about it, what' is a magician's assistant called? A Stagehand!
Imagine if the standhand serves a great purpose in the endgame, perhaps it might swallow us and lead us to Charlie's throne once we beat the lunar boss and feed the stagehand it's drop!
@@francinequinn4690 Thermal stone and follow tracks on a hunt. Get a koalaphant and kill it (five or six hits then run, repeat). 8 meat should last you a bit and do what you wish with the trunk.
We really need more Nightmare Creatures, things like Broken Dolls seeping fuel, twisted trees full of Lice-like Creatures or Bats full of tentacles that shoot some proyectiles may really fit in the theme.
I mean, technically the creatures we have are pseudo-Lovecraftian so...? I would still like to progress the lunar content after 2 full years of seafaring before Forgotten Knowledge but being able to go deeper with, The Ancients, and their reliance on nightmare fuel would be neat!
Charlie didn’t intend to trap Winona in the constant as she responds to some of quotes showing remorse same for Maxwell but no remorse you can find this in the game files
I never saw Charlie's attack before, didn't even think of a way to see it. Kinda wishing I didn't because that's *quite* the way to murder someone My only question is how Winona dodges the first strike when the strike comes from inside her
It is also known that, Charlie, may still be a LITTLE reluctant against having, Winona, in this world so the idea is that her first strike is being held back by whatever feelings may be leftover and the second is, Charlie, succumbing to whatever, Higher Powers, are at play.
ive noticed that rosed have quite a lot of connections with the nightmares fuelweaver drops one, the stagehand has them all around its spawn location, charlie has one in her hair, maxwell in his suit and even the florid postern is made out of them
"We encounter her [Charlie] only in total darkness..." The moggles make me think that she only comes out when you can't see her. Not necessarily the same thing as total darkness... Is there a test you could do to prove darkness vs unseen? I didn't know that others could see her attack, that is really cool, but you still can't see Charlie. (Love your stuff Beard!)

I wonder when the Lore ends up to beating the game? Hopefully Charlie will be saved. And that every character leaves The Constant, and defeating The Darkness itself and that grabbed Maxwell and Charlie and bringing them to The Constant.

I know that this is for dst but there's a version of Mr. Skitts that appears in shipwrecked while you're on the water that's just some shadowy water with eyes, and shipwrecked also introduced my favorite nightmare of the seas, the shadow sea monster or something I never found out it's name.
I would LOVE to see you do a monday mod showcase on Charlie. I believe she has interesting mechanics somewhat similar to wendy's but without the ghost buddy. Along with the fact hat you have multiple skins too!!

There is a mod for both solo don't Starve and Don't Starve together to play as her, it's called something like "Playable Charlie, The Insanity Update" or something to that effect! I've got it myself and it's very good
