this is a great what if. the only problem i have with it is that I don't think Goku would want the ultimate form, because he wouldn't want to be gifted power, but it's pretty small.

You know I love this version I mean Goku was never really good with transformations and he was simply relying on his own power. Now with his potential unlocked this can become a new norm for how Goku trains Gohan and Goten. And given this story it’ll give Goten and trunks much needed character development which I think after the defeat of Buu there should be a movie called the return of the Majin where a small piece remains absorbing power from the Kai’s and the Sayians until he is strong enough to return with a massive upgrade. And this can be used to give them all a major run for their money giving Goten much needed maturity. But in this movie they can learn of a Negaverse that has their evil counterparts now it doesn’t open or anything but presents as a danger to them one day which is why Goten decides to keep training.

12:49 Just having a small break to say I like these kind of precisions about power levels.
When you said 400k for goku and 300k for Vegeta, I was instantly wondering why Vegeta would be so close when they had a large gap of powers just before.
And just after that you come with an appropriate explanation that perfectly match the situation.
This is just a small detail among everything but it makes your stories more convincing and really good overall.

The only real issue is the part with Porungas wishes. Porunga can only revive one person at a time, which is why only Piccolo was revived by Dende in series canon.

@@SacredSaiyan Although it does get buffed sometime between the end of the Cell Games and the Buu Saga. But either way the same results could be achieved with Earths Dragon Balls and Nameks. With the events taking place earlier, Goku could’ve had the time to use Nameks balls to revive Tien and then used Earths to achieve the same results with things stabilizing before the androids showed up and continuing as you stated.
