For just few years. They were going on the decision to stop selling véhicules in Europe but in the last moment things have changed… so in order to keep the selling, they rebadged Renault’s models but not for the eternity
I can understand the disappointment on the fact that Mistubishi didn’t bring us a real home product vehicule. But the decision of keeping sale in Europe was done in last moment so they didn’t have other choice than rebadge Renault’s model for few years in order to prepare a new line-up with EV’s / hev / Phev. If climate norms wasn’t that restrictive and complicated, Mitsubishi would import their own car in Europe… but it’s impossible for reasons that everybody can understand. Still… the Outlander Phev facelift would be imported in Europe very soon as I’ve heard. This SUV is not a bad car so far, I could drive it in Japan lately. But I have to say, the most interesting model is the next gen model of Lancer Evo ! …
People don’t understand that car manufacturers do this for saving development cost. Yes, it might seem strange or lazy for Mitsubishi to use a French car but at least they save money and they can keep the cost down in the car!
Such a disappointment from Mitsubishi and Toyota. Mitsubishi is now Renaults with mitsubishi logos and Toyota takes legendary cars like the Supra and puts BMW engines in it. Nissan is also owned by Renault and they use Renault engines. Pretty much the only 100% Japanese brands today are Mazda, Subaru and Honda.
@@Sevan59 Clio is good I agree on that. My point is that Mitsubishi isn't the legendary brand it used to be once, before they had their own cars which were 100% Japanese. Now all they do is take a Renault, add Mitsubishi badges on it and call it ''Mitsubishi''.
Renault Colt 😎
Mitsubishi Clio 😎
Renault-Mitsubishi-Nissan Alliance
is this a joke ? they changed only logos in the car. Wow !
