This was probably a very big step into the unknown for you in terms of content and style of presentation and you absolutely nailed it! Spot on! Keep up your traditional trips but please do some more of these!
Sorry, but this content should be marked as advertising. An original Simply Railway style with text only and a sincere info was much much better. But one has to sell himself one time 😢
@@msjr71 I mean he was pretty honest about why it was created and who edited it. But still very much in the theme of this channel and I really enjoyed it.
Your this video was very enjoyful and motivated to me. Your this presentation is very nice and Beautiful also. Thankyou for introducing of your explanations
First of all, I loved seeing you in the video. I know this was for a special vid, but it was a pleasant change. As for the trains, I will definitely put this region on my bucket list. I will be in France in August but will be spending a week in Provence this trip. Combining the Occitaine with the Dordogne would be a great trip.
Wow what a beautiful trip!! I’m so in love with this itinerary that I would consider going there. It’s an amazing place ❤. This was an excellent format. You showed how beautiful both the train trip and the region. Definitely worth going
My (Italian) mother lived in Lorgues (83) for 25 years, the "Chemin des pignes" was almost behind her house, the old line of the "Train des pignes", sadly long gone. I saw a few photos of it, and walked along part of the road/route when I would visit her. Wish it had still been around for me to ride it!
BEST video from you! Even this is a sponsored video (your First) I just visited Occitanie on 2024-06-22 (Sat) - 2024-07-04 (Thu) Including 2024-06-23 (Sun)Toulouse -> Cerbere / Portbou -> Perpignan 2024-06-24 (Mon) Perpignan -> Train Jaune -> Latour De Carol -> Toulouse 2024-06-26 (Wed) 07:30 Toulouse -> Lourdes 2024-06-29 (Sat) 13:20 Lourdes -> Toulouse!
This was a great video Thibault! I’ve never been to that part of France but the Alpes-Maritimes is my favorite place on Earth. After seeing g this video I’ll have to make a point of visiting Occitanie in the future. Please make more videos like this one!
Yeeaaaahhh ! Thanks Thibault for the beautiful trip report, it's so good to see the french region by train ! Tu peux essayer de faire la nouvelle-aquitaine une prochaine fois, ce serait génial !!! Est ce que tu peux faire la ligne Poitiers-Limoges ou un truc du genre, merci pour tes vidéos, elles sont géniales !!!
It is kind of refreshing to have someone who pronounces all the French names and places correctly xD. It's rare for an english speaking audience to hear it said properly ^^
I love these videos! As a railway enthusiast (and someone who just spent 2.5 years in a medical facility), these presentations keep me going! I particularly enjoy the segments that describe accessibility. Hmm . . . maybe I might shop for an N gauge consist (?). As a retired Philadelphian & urban planning professional (PRR nut) l, I also watch the SEPTA videos from your good Friend.
This particular region of France is definitely worth a visit, but these days I’m more of an ‘armchair traveller’ as I lack the resources to get there thanks to being stuck on HM Government Welfare payments due to past mental health issues. I have twice travelled on ‘Le Petit Train Jaune’, or the ‘Pyrenean Metro’ as its affectionately called, once in the mid-1970’s (when the line still carried freight) and again in the early 1990’s, when I toured France on an SNCF ‘France Vacances’ pass.
Very nice presentation, finally seeing the person behind the video. Only one litlle thing: as I asked earlier, can you please speak a bit more slowly? Like when you read behind the film? That is perfectly understandable and good, while when you are on camera, you talk too fast, at least for me. I tried slowing the video but that sounds very unnatural. So, please talk in the camera as if you read! Many thanks for wonderful vidoes🤗
OMG you're wearing a t-shirt at the end from the Kum and Go gas station chain in the American Midwest. Sadly, their new owner will be ditching the name in the coming year.

Probably one of the scenic & best journey in France, thumbs up for the video.
Great video. I cycled a lot through this area 25 years ago. I missed the trains back then....

I remember when this are used to be called Languedoc-Roussillon, we spent a lot of summer vacations there.

Hi thibault
OMG you're wearing a t-shirt at the end from the Kum and Go gas station chain in the American Midwest. Sadly, their new owner will be ditching the name in the coming year.
BIG thank you for no subtitles❗️👏👍
