I bought one of these Lekato Loop pedals last January and placed it on my pedal board. It works flawlessly and really increased the amount of time I spent practicing. Definitely worth the $$.
Where on the board did you put it
@@rockman49er at the end of the chain. my board goes, wah -> OD -> chorus -> delay -> looper
Yeah, I think it would encourage my practice, because it's like jamming with another
Mine doesn’t flow seamlessly it always has a gap.. been trying to get it timed but it still won’t go… sending it back
Scott what a great video, I'm 68 years old and this just looks like pure fun. Keep up the the good work.
Jim
Beginner here. I just bought one of these. Lots of fun! Amazing features for such a low price.
Hey Scott, hope you’re having a great day. We really do appreciate the videos that you make for us. I purchased quite a few of your recommendations and have not been disappointed! Thanks again have a great week.
Thanks Larry! I appreciate that 😊 Glad to hear the products have helped you out 🤘
I just bought one and am about to try it out. Thank you for the good instructions!
Fantastic review helped me a massive amount will definitely tune In for more info
Thank you. Love this looper, plus I’m a beginner. Awesome.
Never miss an upload. Great stuff, thanks as always.
Thanks Lewis! I appreciate it 🤘
brilliant very to the point explanation for an awesome loop pedal, exactly in the mindset for the reason to pick this pedal up! Great work!
Big help, nice methodical approach. Thanks!
Great video! I bought this last year and just started using on my board tomorrow. It is awesome! Using it in my FX loop on my MT15 it handles distortion excellently. I'm really liking it
Just scored one of these so thanks for the clear instructions! 😊
Thanks for the excellent review. Been looking at loopers for past 3 weeks.
Thank you for being so thorough!
Thanks for the breakdown and demo. Nice work and really helpful -- thanks!
Thanks!
Nice video as always. Clear and fair review of the product
Thanks Rocky!
This video was as hilarious as it was informative and helpful. Thanks!!!
Really enjoy your content and your sense of humour.
And this seems like a great price for a decent little pedal.
Thanks Zach! And yeah it’s a pretty cool little device!

I just purchased this looper. I'm just getting back into playing, I'm 75 and it is going to be easier with a little back up. I began playing when I was 9 tears old. I do keyboard, lead, rhythm, pedal steel. Great video.
This little looper/tuner would go great with my “no ragrets” minimalist pedalboard of just a tube screamer mini (so far). Thanks for the review info!
Haha nice! Team minimalism 🤘
This was super helpful. I’m have one of their loopers in my cart. I was unsure since it would be my first looper, but I’m going to go ahead and buy it. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
I NEED THAT! cool videos as always. Budget friendly and real budget-life recommendations.
🤘🤘🤘
This pedal is pretty cool, thanks for showing us! I may have to get one in the near future.
Thanks! Yeah it’s a pretty nifty device for sure
Great video my friend! I was having doubts on buying one of those but with your review I'ma buy it for sure! Thanks a lot!
Thanks! Enjoy 🤘
I've got that same guitar! Just ordered the looper. Thanks for the video!
Nice! Good choice 🤘😊 Enjoy the looper!
Thank you very much this is great I got one and I find it sooo easy to do simple loops.
Glad it helped!
Great video Scott, thanks!
Thanks!
Looks like a great pedal for an acoustic board. Would definitely use this for my solo shows!
Absolutely would be great for that!
Helpful video! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Pretty cool little box...thanks for the giveaway!
Thanks for following the channel 🤘 I enjoy being able to give back when I can!
This a dope little pedal. I dig it!
🤘🤘
Hi Scott, I've just bought this looper and was clueless as to how I'd get going. Super video buddy save me a heap of time.👍
seems like a chill dude, thanks. a lot easier than reading the tiny manual
Thanks 🤘
Hey man, I have just purchased and would like to thank you for a great tutorial video.
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks Scott, Very cool little looper.. Also really like the accent wall behind you'
Mike
Thanks 🤘
A few years ago I sold the guitars I had due to my health. (Kidney transplant) Three years later I miss playing guitar and seeing this wonderful product has made me want to play. I recently bought a Jackson Dinky JS22 and would love to play along with the lokato looper. I’m 72 and would love having one. Your description and demonstration was great. Thank you.
Thank you! And glad to hear you are starting to play guitar again 🤘🤘
Thanks Scott! I just ordered the pedal through your link. Great video, very easy to understand explanation of how to loop and I liked all the memes throughout.
Thanks! Come for the tech, stay for the memes 😅
@@ScottUhlMusic I've been watching your vids for years. Keep making great content! I love the reviews and tutorials you do.

I have a Trio Looper and programmed it last year, a bunch of songs, when I plugged it in I realized, I forgot how to program it, definitely a learning curve on some of 'em
Yeah sometimes I forget how I loop songs too haha. Not my original stuff but my covers for sure
Wow! Super cool! I do recommend this pedal. I own one (not this version) and is very cool so I guess I need to upgrade mine. 🙏 Keep it up Scott and thanks
Thanks Bernie!
Thanks so much for your videos!! Has helped a lot!! 👍🤘🎸
Thanks Dan 🤘🤘
Scott could you 3mins on setting tempo please hope you fine hope you can 🇬🇧
Hi Scott, love the channel.
Just recommended it to someone this morning who was looking for under $200 IEMs
Thanks! I appreciate that :)
Wow. Great video! I bought one of these a while ago for practice, but I got frustrated because I didn’t think you could switch and sync loops to go back-and-forth between verse and chorus… your video showed me that you can! Thanks.
Glad I could help!
Tempo setting! Essential plz uk 🇬🇧
Hi Scott. Another great review/tutorial on how to use this looper/tuner. Pedal board space is at a premium and this would solve a few issues.
Thanks! And yeah this definitely is a nice and small pedal for a pedalboard
GREAT job - super concise and clear which is really nice since the Lekato has so many features and really only two control buttons however, we need to get you a lint remover for your slippers :)
Dude I’ve tried! Hahahaa it’s a lost cause, and I’ve accepted it hahahaha
Thnx for sharing this turorial. I see it's easy to use so i'm gonna get me one on Amazon and try it out. Do i need a second pedal if i wanne play with two instruments?
nice little pice of guear. Thanks for the video.
It’s definitely a cool little device 🤘
Dude, how do you always find the best cheap stuff. Musicians on a budget all over thank you.
Thanks Ric! That’s definitely what my channel has started to focus on more. Still some tutorials and higher end gear, but mostly on good budget gear 🤘
Legit demo and pedal 👽
Thanks!
thanks!!! it helped me a lot
You're welcome!
Great review of a very economical looper. I'm curious if the narrow body caused it to want to roll while trying to press and hold for 3 seconds? Love the led light feature to show the active loop. Thanks for the review!
No, it didn’t. And especially if it was velcro down to a pedalboard, I wouldn’t worry about that happening 👍
Hey Scott! Great video. That looper looks cool
Thanks! And yeah it’s pretty sweet 🤘
Thanks! And yeah it’s pretty sweet 🤘
Seems like a good looper. New subscriber as of this morning lol.
Thanks! 🤘
Great channel Scott. I'm the only guitarist in my band, so it would be cool to be able to loop something when I solo.
Nice! Especially helpful for writing guitar solos for sure 👍
I had a caline looper and it would heat up when left with the 9volt power on. It just quit on me so i just ordered this one. Hope it lasts. Thanks
First few seconds sold it for me..cheers
🤘🤘
Got this for Christmas and was frustrated, print too small without magnification, watched 4-5 other how to and was more confused. You did a great job it likely isn't defective but you cleared things up. I understand why they sent you three one to keep one two to gift. thanks
Glad I could help!
Cool!
🤘🤘
Interesting little pedal
🤘🤘
Nice demo, I've been wanting to try looping I just haven't had the guts to take the plunge.
It’s a skill to get down for sure and takes time just like anything else. But it’s worth it!
Good video! Quick question. Does the tuner function works for any tuning? Or just standard tuning.
Thanks, and yeah any tuning 👍
Great video. But I just wanna ask if you can also adjust the pitch of the tuner? From 440hz to 430hz
Thanks! And I don’t believe so
Thanks dude. Nice of you to give away pedals. I'm not into possessions, either,. I just want a couple more pedals. BTW you had so much pet hair on your slippers, man. Hee hee
Dude I have so much pet hair EVERYWHERE lol!

Hey Scott. Not much of a looper fan but wanted to let you know that based on your recommendations I recently purchased the Phenyx Pro PTM-11 IEM system and the CCA C12 ear buds. Haven't used them yet with my classic rock band but from messing around with them at home I'm VERY impressed with the quality of the sound, construction, and ease of use for the money. I also purchased that Mooer P1 effects pedal with the wireless footswitch and plan on using that with an acoustic country trio I also work with that will allow me to play some electric guitar as well without the need to lug around an amp. Great recommendations. Keep 'em coming!
Awesome! All 3 of those are excellent decisions! Glad they are working out well for you 🤘🤘
Thanks for the vid! 2 Qs: how is it with bass guitar? How is the audio quality? Any degraded tone with long loops?
I haven’t used it with bass, but it sounds great with guitar!
When you record different loops from 1 to 2 to 3, can you record loops on top of those too? Hence it would double up or even triple up. OR, are you only allowed to "jam" over the three set of loops after you record them once. Whereas, when you record only one loop or phrase, you can record as many loops on top of that as you want?
You can build on top of the 3 as much as you want, but there are only 3 banks/loops
Good review
Thanks!
Great video thank you just wanna practice looping
Thank you sir...
Thank you 😊
Cool pedal.
Thanks man 🤘 did you get the other one you won? It should have arrived yesterday
@@ScottUhlMusicnot yet. I'll keep you posted
Hey Scott , this is a very informative post. I’m thinking about purchasing one of these loopers, but since it has a built in tuner, I’m wondering if it will be as effective as a tuner when placed at the end of the pedalboard where a looper is recommended to be placed. I currently have my tuner pedal first on my pedalboard, as recommended. Any thoughts? Thanks🤘
A looper can be at the beginning or the end, depending on what you want to accomplish, but looping at the end usually makes the most sense. It would be fine at the end, just don’t have any pitch based effects enabled when you try to tune 👍
Great video thanks. I have a question about powering it via USB, I am guessing you plugged the USB into a wall plug? Have you by chance ever tried it with a battery power bank?
I haven’t, but I believe that will work 👍
Hi Scott, purchased one of these after watching this video. Where do I place it in the chain & where do I input & output it? I just want to loop various effects in chain while building it. Thanks.
Usually I put the looper at the end of the chain, but if you want to add delays and reverb to the looped signal AFTER the looping, you can add delay/reverb/etc after the looper.
Hey Scott, great video! I got one for me, but I can't transfer any wav files into the pedal through the USB cable. It says "the device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected". Do you know how to solve it?
Thanks! And That I don’t know… try a different cable maybe?
I got this and a beat buddy mini and a few other pedals im just not sure where to put the lekketo at the end or the beginning probably not going to use the tunner
It depends on what works best for your setup 👍 there’s no “right” answer with signal chain flow
Good video 👍
Thank you!
Will the tuner show flat and sharp tuning? Like e flat half step down or does it only show standard?
It will display if you play Eb or any chromatic note
Another great video! the only problem I see is the small size button to change the loops...other than that it is a great product!
Yeah that’s the toughest part, but you can do it for sure… or get that external pedal 😊
@@ScottUhlMusic I saw some other looping options from the same vendor where the button is even worse placed in the middle between the display...this version is better I think...but for the price really worth it...
Have a good day idol
Just got one of these trying to get to grips with it
Looping is definitely a whole new skill to learn, but it’s worth it IMO
Are you able to loop a specific mode on the pedal and then change the mode on the pedal and then loop it again without changing both of the audios into the same mode on the pedal. So for example could I loop a shimmer and then loop a modulate? I’m trying to but it’s just all coming out as the current pedal mode when I try change it.
Oh I just read one of the comments and read you said to change where it is in the chain. Thanks
Ok cool 👍
Yo,Scott!
Can I put loop 1 to play and record over loop 2, or are these loop entries completely indepedent? I mean some way to synchronize them with each other.
You can always just stack on top of each other. If you want more control with looping, there are other options with more loops. I used the Boss RC 300 for years. It’s great
@@ScottUhlMusicAs far as I understood from the video those loop entries (1, 2 and 3) can be played sequentially, one after the other in any order. But when you switch from loop 1 to loop 2 for example, then loop 1 stops playing. So it seems like they can't overlap each other during playback or recoding. Overdub would be an alternative, but in that case on a specific audio file (either loop 1, 2 or 3). Right?
I would like to be in the drawing of the Lekato Looper . Thanks
Does this pedal have a fade out option? It kinda sucks ending a song so abruptly on a loop.
It does not, at least I don’t believe so
Thank you. Is it working for another tools? (Like electric piano)
Or recording only guitar
You can use it with anything for looping audio 👍
This looks great. What is the difference between this and the other version of this that has the two buttons to access the tuner?
There is another version of this pedal? If it had two buttons that makes it less compact but easier to use, so that’s probably up to you to decide which is more valuable 👍
I believe there are technically 3 different Lekato loopers.
What sucks is this particular version has the Sync feature but only has 3 banks, while another Lekato looper version has 9 banks without the Sync feature. Both of these versions I speak of have the LCD/tuner aspect. The 3rd version is more plain looking with no LCD/tuner (not investigating it further).
I *hope* both this version demoed and the 9-bank version (non-Sync) have the same playback sound quality, as in verifiably to the human ear, not just on paper. This video demo demonstrated what sounded like better quality (on par with the live guitar tracking the loop) than other video demos going over the 9-bank version.
I will pull the trigger on the 9-bank version and report back.
EDIT: The 9-bank version HAS a hidden Sync feature(!!!!!).
Does it matter if you use this looper with an acoustic-electric?
Nope, you can use it with any
hello can i ask a question ? how it's powered ? the 9volt dc doesn't look plugged ? can it powered just with the usb c on the wall ? like a phone ? sorry it's a begginer question from a french guy !
Yup you can use USB 👍
thanks for your quick reply !
@@ScottUhlMusic
shou out from philipines
Is the lekato looper compatible with a beat buddy? In other words if I plug the beat buddy into the lekato looper, and then record a rhythm guitar over a Beat buddy drum beat, will the looper record both?
It does not sync up to beat buddy
Thanks
Recently got mine and after I record a loop, it stops briefly for a few seconds before replaying the loop. Any ideas on how to fix?
Mine does not do that, so I’m not sure
how do you turn it off
Can lekato loop pedal be use with acoustic guitar
Yup 👍
Can you switch between microphones and guitar?
This only has one input, so you would need a mixer or a/b switch
