Wow, Somerset Pete...well done to you for creating such a magnificently made video! The footage and music perfectly compliment this highly-spiritual location. I lived near Glastonbury for ten-years and the Tor and Chalice Well Gardens...as well as just the entire vicinity surrounding this special place...filled my heart with sooo much joy! I will be returning in December 2017 from America (where I currently reside) to visit family and just cannot wait. Thank you for your heart-breakingly beautiful video of this most special magical place.
Thankyou for your kind comments. If it touched your heart it has done its job and I hope you have a great trip at the end of the year. It's a shame you're not visiting now. Spring has sprung and Avalon is again alive with warmth, colour and birdsong. Blessings.
At last!! someone who knows how to sensitively film as well as add appropriate music to accompany the subject matter~ so many personal travel or walks on youtube with someone making a running commentary , often out of breath and lacking any real knowledge, with the addition of the most grating or inappropriate music /soundtrack~ ruining what otherwise might have been a lovely film. Beautifully filmed, edited and perfect soundtrack~ thank you! Obviously a man of taste and sensitivity. Thank you for this~ I will certainly save this to my favorites.
Hello .( I am a woman by the way,) and you are most welcome re: my compliment~ it was just the truth and certainly heads above the efforts made by most people on youtube . It was such a departure from most other films I have viewed on youtube and almost always been disappointed in, that I felt I had to let you know how appreciated it was ~ a beautifully executed and conceived film ~ a joy to view. Thank you for sharing it.
+FoxyDevonLady Thankyou. Glad you enjoyed it. The photos at the end are all my own, taken over a few seasons with various cameras, both good and not so good. Is that a film camera you're holding in your avatar?
+Somerset Pete Yes, it is. I never took to digital and still love using film. I'd wondered the same about some of your photos as they have the kind of colours that can be softer yet richer than digital pics...if that makes sense, lol.
+FoxyDevonLady Well spotted Foxy. I also occasionally use some excellent film emulation software which reproduces (ironically) the grain imperfections and tints of various film emulsions. I know some film users shy away from digital because of its perceived' coldness'. This fixes that. www.dxo.com/us/photography/photo-software/dxo-filmpack I used to have my own darkroom many years ago and still have some affection for the old classic films.
+Somerset Pete Cheers for the link, Pete. I too used to process & print my own films in the darkroom, but just B&W ones. It's amazing how creative it can be isn't it. I use Boots now for colour film, and they'd be very hard to beat for quality...apart from the odd lost film, lol, but they do chase them and they turn up a few weeks later. Not as immediate as digital! ;) Part of the charm for me though, to see what I took and relive my visits. :)
+FoxyDevonLady Yes I have to agree that digital took some of the magic away. Some call it creative freedom, but in the days of film we had to be much more mindful of what we were capturing both practicality and cost-wise; and I seem to print so few of my images these days. Although, that said, I've just framed a 30" panorama of the Somerset Levels and Glastonbury Tor! Do you have a gallery on-line anywhere? - then again I guess that would involve scanning your images?
One of the most beautiful places on Gaia Sophia, a blessed sacred embodiment of Sophia ! Thank you for the imagery and music of this incredible sanctuary !
The courtyard at 7:20 looks very much as I remember one in, "Pride and Prejudice". Keira Knightley's character is running home in the rain--looks a lot like it, I wonder if it was filmed there.
I love also the music, can you tell me who it singsI walk there 3 /4 times a year love it thereIn August I will be thereThank you for sharing this beautiful videoblessings
Hi Colinda. Glad you liked it. I'm afraid I can't recall the precise playlist but if you go to this site www.onlinevideoconverter.com you can extract the audio from the video very easily. I'm in Glastonbury just about every week. Perhaps our paths will cross one day.
Sparklytank Hi and thanks for your comment. According to this web page this location isn’t included in the 2005 Pride and Prejudice but several locations nearby were, including Wilton House, Nr Salisbury and the Stourhead Estate very close to my home. www.movie-locations.com/movies/p/PrideAndPrejudice05.html#.VZ_WaXh--V5But curiously enough I recently composed a piece of music inspired by that very film! which I thought was beautifully shot and directed by Joe Wright. You can listen to it here: soundcloud.com/peter-vines/on-seeing-pemberley Strange world huh? Do you believe in synchronicity?
You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it. I compiled the soundtrack from various sources but if you copy the video's URL into the "KeepVid" web page you should be able to download the audio as an MP3 file from there. Hope this helps.

Hi Lisa. The video is still working fine at my end, Are you watching in HD? If so, perhaps try watching it in a lower resolution. Just a thought.
No my pc is ok. For me it is a sign to go there with my twin flame do you live there? And so is there something special at the moment?
