    Additional points:
    1) Spouse in Germany has to send "Meldebescheinigung" which is the city registration letter as well.
    2) Spouse in Germany can register their partner with their Insurance company (for e.g. TK, AOK) even before the partner is in Germany. Just contact your insurance provider and inform them about the date on which your partner is arriving in Germany. The company will register your partner as your dependent from that date.
    **Note:
    After submitting the documents, Ragini received a mail after 3 weeks to submit "Verpflichtungserklärung". After I submitted the document, Ragini received visa approval after 2 weeks.

    Appreciation post:
    I came across this video of yours approx 3 months before. That was a time when i was going nuts searching for information on FRV for spouse of student. All the unstructured info i got online was way too confusing. Your video was like a ray of light in the dark that brought hope to me. I followed your instructions throughly, even used the template of cover letter and invitation you shown. 3 months down the line i am writing this holding the FRV stamped passport in my hand. Thanks a ton dear Adwait and Ragini. Keep going! ❤️

    Thanks a lot for the information.
    I had a doubt and asking since I didn't get any information online and you also mentioned that we can do the application if we have a temporary work permit.
    My husband has a temporary blue card (Fiktionsbescheinigung) and waiting for his actual blue card but it may take very long. Sometimes 6 months.
    I wanted to ask whether with the temporary blue card can I apply for the Spouse Visa?
    It would be nice if you could share some light on this.

    I have a few questions, it will be very helpful, if you could clear a few of my doubts.
    1. "Verpflichtungserklärung" has to be provided by someone residing in German? Or can be provided by someone living other than Germany if they meet the reqirements of more than 1180euros?
    2. What do you meant by you met Visa officer there in Germany? Who is that and how did you contact them?
    3. If there is one child, does the amount for blocked amount changed?
    4. Do you know if the spouse who is dependant can work when they come to Germany?
    Thanks in advance!

    • @acoupleingermany
      @acoupleingermany  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Vishakha! Glad that the information was helpful for you 😊
      Answering your questions:
      1) The person who can provide "Verpflichtungserklärung" has to be a resident of Germany.
      2) Every resident in Germany has a Visa officer in the Ausländerbehörde of the city they live in. You can drop a mail to the Ausländerbehörde of your city and your visa officer will reply you. You can find the email id on their website.
      3) If the Visa officer says that you have to open a blocked account then yes, the amount will change depending on the number of kids one has. However, your visa officer will let you know the amount that needs to be blocked. We have shared the link of blocked account amount calculation by Expatrio. You can check it for your reference however, the final decision lies in the hands of your visa officer.
      4) Yes they can work full-time. When the spouse gets a job, their visa changes to either blue card or work permit depending on their profession and their annual salary.

      Thank you for the valuable information..
      Meanwhile when the partner is studying can the spouse work partime?
      & can the dependant spouse also get enrolled to some course & start studying if they want?
      Its been 8years to our marriage & I am currently in Delhi, will there be a marriage verification? & do I have to pay hefty amount for that?
      Did Ragini came in the pandemic period? Has the rules changed in anyway during this..

    • @acoupleingermany
      @acoupleingermany  2 роки тому

      You're Welcome Vishakha 😊
      Answering your questions:
      1) Yes your spouse can work part-time or full-time both. Once they receive a full-time position their visa gets converted to a Work permit or Blue card.
      2) I am not quite sure about this as I don't know anyone who has done that. Having said this, technically I see no reason why this won't be possible. Better confirm this once with your Visa officer at the Ausländerbehörde.
      3) Marriage verification is something that is highly unpredictable. When my wife applied, our marriage was already 3 years old. However, my wife had all her documents like Passport and Aadhar with her new surname. Also, she had added my name in the Passport as Spouse. We are hoping that is the reason why we didn't require Marriage verification. If you can, better renew your Spouse's passport and add your name in the "Spouse name" section. This might help avoid Marriage verification but again we can't guarantee that as it is highly unpredictable. You might also inquire about Apostile from Ministry of External Affairs. Since, we didn't do that, I can't provide much information on that. Sorry
      4) Yes Ragini came during Pandemic. The general rules, procedure and documents havent't changed at all. What might change is if you are allowed to visit the Consulate in person or you have to send the docs via post etc. But this highly depends on the Covid cases in India. W.r.t the procedure or documents required, nothing has changed.

    • @acoupleingermany
      @acoupleingermany  2 роки тому +2

      Hi Vishal
      Thanks for reaching out
      Yes if you're working fulltime then Arbeitsbescheinigung is needed.
      Travel health insurance is required only when the visa is approved and you are asked to submit Passport for Visa stamping. For the initial visa interview no proof of insurance is needed.
      No TK insurance is not required for a visa. That's something your wife has to do after getting the Visa or after coming to Germany (For this, you can refer to the part 2 of this video, "Things to do after getting family reunion visa")

    Thank you so much for making this video. Very Helpful. I have one question. Can you please guide me here?
    Question Background:
    Right now, I am a Master student of in Germany. Along with masters, I am working in an industry as a work student.
    Based on a Family reunion visa, I would like to invite my wife from India to Germany. I have a Residence permit till May 2023. And then I will extend that visa though I am yet to do the master project and master thesis which is part of my masters course (It will take further 1 year 3 months).
    Question:
    Now, if I apply for my wife's dependent visa in February 2023. On the basis of a family reunion visa, how long can my wife stay with me? As my resident permit will expire on May 2023.

    • @acoupleingermany
      @acoupleingermany  Рік тому

      Well Family reunion visa is a National visa which is given for a duration of 6 months or 180 days and hence, if your visa is not valid for at least 180 days or 6 months, the visa of your spouse won't be processed.. This happened with one of our followers recently where the Visa officer wrote an email stating that when the visa of the spouse in Germany will be processed, only then a decision would be made on their application.
      So in short, if you apply in Feb, your wife will get a similar reply. So better extend your visa first and then ask your wife to apply.

      No we didn't carry a DD for verification. If verification is needed for your application then, you would receive a mail with the amount and then, you have to draft a new DD and submit it to them.
      Our advice is that if possible, at least add the spouse name in your passport. Applying and getting a new passport takes time, we agree, but the amount is quite less as compared to the marriage verification fees. In our case, verification wasn't required and one possible reason that we feel is that the spouse name was mentioned in at least 1 government document (Ragini's passport). But again, that is our perception. We wouldn't guarantee that it would work.

      @@dextertyger7075 As per the official website the processing time is 12 weeks however, we received it in roughly 4-5 weeks.
      Since it was Corona time, the application got stuck for a few months because the visa offices were not open but once they started, we got the process done fairly quickly.
      It depends on a lot of factors like the finance shown, workload at the Ausländerbehörde and the Visa officer as well.
      No your passport is not to be submitted at the time of appointment. When your spouse gets visa, they will receive a mail to submit the passport along with travel insurance and tentative date of travel.

      I understand that getting an appointment now a days is quite stressful. We had booked a slot online (luckily we got one very quickly) however, if you don't get an online slot then try calling VFS in the morning. Sometimes it happens that people cancel the appointment and if you are lucky, you might get it when you call them. Hello Mr. Ashok
      We are glad that you liked our content and it was helpful to you 😊
      To answer your question, yes you can come to Germany on student visa and eventually bring your family here. Also, technically you can bring your wife and kids along with you to Germany but the problem with that is you need to show a lot of money in blocked account right at the start. Also, you need to find a big house for all of you to stay together. This in our opinion is quite tedious. In our opinion, not an advice please do your due diligence, you come to Germany first on student visa and then eventually bring your family after finding a better and a bigger accommodation.

      Sure you can bring your family while you're on a job seeker visa. However, we wouldn't advise it because naturally, you have to show additional finances to support them and this might make it a bit more tricky to convince your visa officer for the visa.
      So to summarize, yes you can apply for their visa. There isn't any restriction that someone on JSV can't bring their family however, you have to take into consideration the finances.

      1) Well you might have got a letter which states that you have got a Blue card. I think you can show that but again I am not sure. Maybe the documents get accepted but perhaps your application stays on hold unless you submit the Blue card copy. However, this depends on the Visa officer at the Ausländerbehörde so it is difficult for anyone to know what might happen.
      2) Employer statement is the Arbeitsgeberbescheinigung. You need to collect this document from Ausländerbehörde/Stadtverwaltung, fill it up, get it signed from your company and send it to your spouse. She has to submit this document at the Consulate.
      3) This is something that you need to confirm with your Visa officer at the Ausländerbehörde as it depends on them. Generally, in Germany a separate kid's room is required. In my brother's case as well, he had 2 children but he showed just a single Kid's room and that was accepted. Our advice would be that you confirm this with your visa officer.
      4) No. German language certificate is not required for spouses of Blue card holders. However, if they already have a certificate then it is better to carry that. A1 is sufficient.

    • @acoupleingermany
      @acoupleingermany  2 роки тому

      Travel health insurance is not required at the time of appointment. It is required only when the visa is approved and the passport is to be submitted for stamping.

      It would be helpful but not compulsory.. ultimately the final decision will be taken by the Visa officer at Ausländerbehörde.. you might want to contact them once

    Hi guys, how can i book appointment for FRV especially for 2 people (me and my daughter ) at same time.

      My brother's kids were 3 and 5 and his wife booked an appointment (Family reunion for spouse) in her name and take them along. It was accepted. We don't know the age-limit, if any, for the kids to accompany their parents for the visa appointment. You need to check this with VFS or on the Consulate homepage.
      However, you must fill separate Visa application form for you and your daughter.

      Hey Nila, what Adwait & Ragini told is right. You only need one appointment in your name and can take the kid along with you.
