K-4 is now operational in Indian Navy (range-3500 km). Warhead capacity-2000 kg. MIRV version is under development and K-5[range-5500km(expected)] and K-6[range-6500km(expected)] will be MIRV capable from their beginning.

There is nothing called K-2 and K-3. Our Navy currently has K-15 Sagarika and K-4 SLBM.

It is TNT equivalent (KT),a measurement unit of Energy.The Pokhran-II test was based on the testing of a scale down model of 200 KT nuke. 1Kiloton = energy produced by the explosion of 1000 Tons of TNT. K-4 SLBM is capable of carrying 2 tones of Nuclear material (Plutonium). Most probably 1KT=4•186 Giga Joule. Tsar Bomba was a 57 Megaton Nuke that means it was capable of producing energy equivalent to the energy produced by the explosion of 1million tons of TNT 😰😰😰😰😰
If K-4 SLBM is equipped with 2000 kg Plutonium warhead then it can yield 200 KT energy (approximately) it would have unimaginable devastating effects.

India's K5 and K6 class SLBMs have a range of 6000-8000 kms and they have MIRV capability and can be fired from both Arihant and Arighat nuclear submarines. Please update!

triddent II is old and ancient, designed in 70s.
Trident is just the name. The missile has had multiple upgrades. It’s actually the most reliable of any missile out there.

Building nukes is no doubt much easier than slimming one down for use as a naval reactor. plus you don't need a nuclear reactor to launch a missile.

It is better only in that it has the highest maximum warhead velocity of all underwater missiles. Otherwise, it doesn’t stand out in any way - the range is standard like everything else

Trident II has better range, and superior payload, considering that it can carry 14 warheads if it didn't follow nuclear agreements that kept it carrying only 8 warheads.
