Any one else see bettman sinisterly grin when confronted with questions about no canadian team having won the cup since hes been the commissioner
Change the conference from east to west to north to south. A Canadian division like the bubble. 😅
Badass comment
Chicago, Columbus, Washington, in the south?
I'm not sure what 16 teams would be in the southern Conference.
Cats
Bolts
Canes
Preds
Blues
Stars
Avs
Utah
Kings
Ducks
Sharks
+ 5 more
Hawks
Jackets
Pens
Caps
Flyers?
Wild to have NJ, NYR, NYI in a separate conference given the proximity to Philly and DC
Weird that the sharks and the kraken are a different conference, but not so bad.
Terrible division road trips for all though.
How does Utah have an nhl team before Quebec City in Canada?😂
The team in Utah (West) came from Pheonix (West).
Why would Bettman copy the NBA and not the NFL or MLB?
MLB and NFL don't have New York teams in the same division.
NBA must have them like that.
Must have same number East and West.
What has a higher profit ceiling and interest a city far north east of Canada that is obsessed with French culture making Canadian dollars with a fan base who already follows the NHL Or a Midwest American city who has an NBA team generating that’ll generate American dollars that has an untapped market of fans you can introduce to a new sport
Easy choice
@@Killerjy lol the Quebec City team can already pack an arena and would generate more viewers in Canada. The currency doesn’t matter because everything is priced higher in Canada above the US currency conversion in most cases.
@@Sam19509 The Eastern Conference had 16 teams.
A western Conference team wasn't going to move to Eastern Canada.
Former Atlanta teams have moved to Calgary and Winnipeg. #BettmanLogic
Maybe if the league expands two west, two east, one will end up in Quebec.
But don't be surprised if Atlanta gets another one.
@@Sam19509 tv viewership generates $, the US dollar matters because it’s a stronger currency and Utah won’t have trouble filling the arena. Finally no one outside Qc cares about the nordiques
“We have more extensive travel because of 7 canadian teams” but not bc of the 3 California teams? The American don cherry
That was interesting framing, but then again; what do you expect from a pig, but a grunt?
its Americas sport now we're better
Didnt know micheal
J fox replaced bettman
Only when covering his ass
How does a city like Phoenix, not have a hockey team? Hopefully they will get an expansion team
they had one you literal moron
What a weasel
Just cuz we’re Canadian doesn’t mean we cheer for other Canadian teams. That narrative is overrated
Fair, most Americans arent rooting for Florida
Gary bettman a Clown 🤡 he dosent like Canadian teams....
