Hi Dan, the sculpture is the end point of the River Ayr Walk which starts at Glenbuck, which is also where the Glenbuck Heritage Village is. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glenbuck this is also the home town of Liverpool legend Bill Shankly, well worth a visit for any Liverpool fan.
This video was spot-on! I love History, reading all the plaques, the town and especially the seal! You hit the jackpot on this one! Thank you for taking us along! Have safe and happy travels!.....
Left a like and Dan and Mazzy nice video you both watching it late and I have a early start in the morning for my trio to Derry for one night looking forward to it now
The comedy carpet in Blackpool is across the road from the tower. It has famous quotes from comedians who appeared in Blackpool that you can walk on and read. Love your channel, love history xx
In your last few videos you are following the route we took in the summer, you wasnt far from the old citadel wall when you was at the Dock area with the new flats nearby( Spoke to soon lol). Also you mentioned Prestwick airport, this is the only place Elvis visited the UK, he landed for the plane to have a refuel. That was as long as his visit.when you was talking about the bridge, you didn't mention the old bridge, that's what the stumps were poking out of the water.
Hello my favorite UA-cam couple! Love your vids, keep them coming! I get to see the lovely views and beautiful towns I'm not able to see personally. Thank you very much for sharing! Love you two! 🙂😍👍👏
I'm from Ayr, I fell off Miller's folly as a kid (the top), and the building you thought was a school is swimming pool, enjoy guys 👍 Town hall is large building behind the malt cross mate.
Beautiful, my parents came to the states from Scotland in 1950..I actually have been to AYR & Girvan last time I was in the UK in 1976 , what a nice video ..nice mellow vibe
It would be easy to get parked at Ayr Promenade at this time of year. During the Summer it is crowded. Ayr town centre has become a bit run down in recent years with closed shops. Still a nice town to visit thought. You mentioned Prestwick Dan. I lived there for five years in my Primary School days, that wasn’t yesterday! The airport is now owned by the Scottish Government. I’ve not visited Ayr for a while. I enjoyed your walk around. The seal was so cute and friendly. Another great , entertaining video from You Tubes nicest couple .Looking forward to the next one. Thanks again.
Hi you two, loving your videos,I was born in Campbeltown and now live 16 miles from Ayr,so have loved watching your posts about both places, have enjoyed your other posts too, looking forward to more :)
Love that app! What a great idea and your seal mate seems a lovely chap too 🥰 You are selling Ayr very well, we haven't been for years and wouldn't have stopped but you have made it really interesting! 👍
My brother stays 5 mins from where you are, between ayr & prestwick, I introduced him to your vlogs & he has picked up some great tips about caravan clubs & the like from you two. Dont forget Rabbie Burns cottage is in Ayr & rozelle gardens isn't far outside ayr and is a nice walk, & has some nice wooden sculptures .
We were there last year and found the whole area around Ayr for a few days. We were very impressed and would go back. Good they have the Motorhome scheme for people.
HI Dan & Mazzy, we where in your old stomping ground in Scarborough a couple of weeks ago, and there was a seal in the harbour and later it was lying on the muddy shore right on the sea front, it drew quite a crowd and was quite happy posing for the crowd.
If your up there in July (was 20 ish years ago) the Waverley paddle steamer can be caught for a day trip off Arran. might start from Glasgow area for full day was awhile ago. road round back of the island had a couple of undulations in it but island is scenic. campsite towards southern end of island was good.
What an interesting place, unexpectedly so I must admit. I had thought Ayr was a sort of function place you had to go to locally if you needed bigger shops etc., but there's actually some really nice stuff there to see. Intruigued by that fish and chip sculpture thing. Way better than that silly black slab they tried to call art!
luv the beach it was nice and sandy. that was some walk you both done , doesn't it tire you out? plenty of history very interesting. enjoy the rest of your day.
Hi Dan & Mazzy, just wondered as you were in Ayr and looking for history you never mentioned Rabbie Burns or visited his cottage ?.....A Trolls fan Liz x

Get to the electric brae Dan 👍 The Electric Brae is a gravity hill in Ayrshire, Scotland, where a freewheeling vehicle will appear to be drawn uphill by some mysterious attraction. The phenomenon is an optical illusion.

Hello dear ones all. What a gorgeous beach.
I live in Ayr and you convinced me to download that app. Looking forward to doing a tourist day in my own toon!
Part the reason you travel to find those unexpected gems.
The “old school” you walked past is the old Ayr swimming baths. Many a great Saturday spent there as a kid. It’s now a mass vaccination centre
what a shame.

Spent many happy days as a kid in Ayr.
I'm not surprised.
