I really appreciate the channel, I am a 56yo disabled Navy Chief. Since I can only walk about 300 yards; I am able to go on tours through you and your content. Thanks so much for what you do!
Very very much appreciated. It really is cool that we can share these places, it is beyond words cool to have the privilege of making a positive impact on lives by doing what we do. We are glad to have you along and Thank You for your service.
Definitely a lot of quartz veins throughout those tunnels. I say if they didn't process any of it, where is it at? I'd like to get some little samples to see what's inside.
@@ghosttownsandminesofwashington Fascinating! I'd be utilizing one of the most advanced metal detectors one could find to search that entire area. If it hasn't already been done!
Hi, Thanks for creating this video! I live in the area and while I can find horseshoe bend on the map outside of Sultan I was curious where you park to access the trail to the site and was wondering if you could provide directions to get me in the general area. Thanks!
? Did they follow an open channel of water or was that a huge pool of watter when they got there . O my this is so well to me mind boging. But my dad did work on the water project in cally. The I bleave it was called the grape vin. Pipe line. Cool video
They made the channel for the water completely. They dammed the river and diverted it into a channel and then drove the rock tunnel for the river to flow through and re-enter the river downstream past the mining operations.
Thank you for this. Did you know there was actually another guy hanging around there? He was wearing a blue coat and had a light and a backpack. Also, if you are the guy that did my last colonoscopy, please don't upload the video to UA-cam 🙂

To our knowledge, it was all spoils which was the large boulder field above the trench.

@@ghosttownsandminesofwashington Thanks and I sent an email yesterday that hopefully was successful in getting to you.
That is amazing! Glad you took the video to show how they diverted the river!
That is more of a tunnel, not really a mine…Correct?
Thank you. We appreciate your comments.
I got it, you did refer to a “tunnel” often…
Water diversion tunnel.
Interesting story, interesting place!
Thanks.
I am going to posit an idea, what if the 25ft shaft was for the transference of the water pipes for the Hydraulic mining guns?
That is a good and interesting thought.
