I went to hear Loretta Lynn sing in a small town in Florida and was completely surprised to see her in a beautiful gown as i was expecting her wearing blue jeans, white blouse and cowboy boots. Her voice was utterly amazing and she more beautiful than i ever imagined. I've watched the movie of her life three times and enjoy singing along to her songs every chance i get.Ive sang at Flea markets several times by Patsy Cline and Billie Jo Spears.Every time that I sing the kind folks tell me that i sound just like Loretta Lynn!! I love Loretta Lynn !! I finally got to go visit her ranch at Hurricane Mills a couple of years ago. The staff made my husband and I feel right at home there. It was only one other couple there that day when we took the tour of her house. I took a lot of pictures. That was so exciting !! Thanks for sharing this.

I m from ky to i used to sing her songs to my children when they were babies i had my first child at 14 its not unusual in my part of ky. Times arent the same in my part of ky ive moved away drugs have taken over my home town sad most good memories are gone from my old ky home...so sad my kids can recite coal miners daughter word for word all 4 kids cherish her movie...as much as i do....

They don't make them anymore like Loretta Lynn. I've listened to her most of my life. I used to walk to my aunt's house to watch her on Saturday evenings. We didn't have a TV in my southeast Kentucky home. She and Dolly Partin were the ones that knew extreme poverty and used their great talent to get out of it while making the rest of us enjoy it so much. Loretta has gone home.
Thats why Loretta Lynn is the true star because she wrote some womans songs. Yet others like Connie Smith have chosen to go to the grave singing the same lines "your out getting all the women you want while I sit home and suffer and cry I wish I could die but the key is in the mailbox--come on in"--and to this day she refuses to do one single song different and instead over decades still honors the cheating beating drunken southern wife beaters. That and "church songs"--the perfect woman for the southerners--Loretta Lynn is down to earth and real--and came clean and did some real songs for the womens cause..

I was obsessed with her in 2016. Because I remember around age 5 or so, me and my Grammy we're at the bank and some person was covering her song coal miners daughter, and then maybe 3 years later or maybe I wasn't 5 and it was right before but anyway when I was eight my grandmother and Grandfather were watching a biography and I said is that the girl you said was Loretta Lynn who wrote and sang the song that we listened to in the car at the bank? And Grammy was like yeah, and long story short Grammy made me a surprise to take me to a special place before I moved, and took me to a secret place she wouldn't tell me even if I guessed it. And we drove to Damascus virginia spent the night at Grammy's aunt's house, and started driving to the campsite St around 6:00 am. And then I slept most of the driving cause 6:00 am when it wasn't school is a big no no for me, and then I woke up and saw Loretta Lynn billboards like turn next right blah blah and I was like Grammy turn around look it's a Loretta Lynn sign omg! And she said while I was sleeping she was hoping please don't wake up and see the signs... XD... And then she was like is that really where u wanna go? And I was like well if it uh doesn't hurt ur feelings...yeah. secretly freaking out on the inside, and then when we went to the sign in post office she was like this is where we were going all along. And it was just a awesome time. And then I stayed interested in her for a while, and then I was over her, then slightly got into her again, then every time I hear one of her songs like when I rarely see a video on her like this, I click on it and of course it's gonna show clips of her singing I realize how good she is. So I think I'm gonna get into her now. And never stop. 💞
Mrs.Lynn had a hard life in the beginning.Doolittle was a wild ,young stallion and she was a little doe at first. I admire any woman who could stay with a man through all that she went through and still have the gumption to pursue her dreams.

Loretta Lynn always told it like it was. She was a voice for many women. She is always so honest about her life and where she was from. Many didn't know what it was like to be poor but I honestly think that if Loretta wouldn't have married Doolittle she would not have had the opportunities to get into the music industry so I am thankful that it worked out like they did. If Loretta hadn't have been born into a poor and loving family she may not have survived raising kids with no money for food. She did what her Mommy did when they were hungry and fed her babies until Doo decided to come home. It is sad that she had to go through this but i know it made her stronger. I just love that Loretta never gave up 9n her marriage or her life as a singer. She survived doing what she knew and inspired so many women. What a wonderful woman. Gah i love Dolly, My love for her has just grown, as ive grown. When i was little i always confused Dolly and Loretta. I was born in 87 and my dad and maternal gpa loved country, there wasn't one day of my life from birth that country music didnt touch my ears but especially Willie, Dolly, Loretta, Johnny Cash etc. & i married at 17 like a dumbass haha I got pregnant with my oldest a year after I got married and had her when i was 18. Never knew the voice i had grown up hearing had something in common with me lol or i to her, technically. My great gma and my gma in law all got married at 10-13 to men in their late 20s-late 30s as well. The early to mid 20th century were drastically different than the late 20th century and a lot of that is because of Loretta and other women and men like her that spoke up and spoke loud. She's the best kind of firecracker imo 😄 Edit: and omg! The day after i got married i moved to CT and 3 months later moved to WA state, my ex husband was on a submarine in the Navy and we were stationed in Groton CT and then Bangor WA. I never knew Loretta also lived in WA after getting married. Damn, if she was from TX wed have pretty much the same life story haha except i cant sing or write and dont have any talent for anything 😂😂

There are so many great things you could say about Loretta Lynn. I've never heard anyone say a bad thing about her. Every since I heard Loretta Lynn and her music 🎵🎶. I fell in love with her 😍. I no she was tired and she had accomplished everything a lady in her career could achieve. Loretta Lynn will be talked about to the end of time. She has the most unique voices in all the world 🌎🌍. R.I.P. the queen 👑 of country music 🎵🎶. At the age of 90 she never lost her wits and still looked good 👍😃😊. And after the stroke she could still sing and was alert that tells you a lot about her Faith in God and it was about being true 🕊️ too God first 🥇 and then being true to your self . Loretta instilled her music 🎵🎶🎸 and her trust in God down to her beautiful 😍💕❤️💞💯❤️ kids and grandkids. Keep her legacy alive family ❤️. If you all follow in her legacy and keep her in your heart 💜❤️💞❤️ she will be with you always and you all will be with her in the after life. Prayer's 🕊️ up to the family ❤️💕💞💯❤️💞 just remember how much she loved her family and friends 💕. You all mama was what you call geninue there was not a fake 🍗 bone in body you could feel the love 💕 from beginning to end . I could go on and on about the queen of country music 🤣🎶🎸. I remember hearing Betty Sue telling about Doolittle's father being a prospector/ a gold miner. He wanted to movie out to Washington and I guess that's how they ended up in Washington too. God sure did end up blessing Loretta with a beautiful voice though and I'm glad we got to hear it also.

They don't make them anymore like Loretta Lynn. I've listened to her most of my life. I used to walk to my aunt's house to watch her on Saturday evenings. We didn't have a TV in my southeast Kentucky home. She and Dolly Partin were the ones that knew extreme poverty and used their great talent to get out of it while making the rest of us enjoy it so much. Loretta has gone home.

A true lady. The real deal down to her country roots
I was obsessed with her in 2016. Because I remember around age 5 or so, me and my Grammy we're at the bank and some person was covering her song coal miners daughter, and then maybe 3 years later or maybe I wasn't 5 and it was right before but anyway when I was eight my grandmother and Grandfather were watching a biography and I said is that the girl you said was Loretta Lynn who wrote and sang the song that we listened to in the car at the bank? And Grammy was like yeah, and long story short Grammy made me a surprise to take me to a special place before I moved, and took me to a secret place she wouldn't tell me even if I guessed it. And we drove to Damascus virginia spent the night at Grammy's aunt's house, and started driving to the campsite St around 6:00 am. And then I slept most of the driving cause 6:00 am when it wasn't school is a big no no for me, and then I woke up and saw Loretta Lynn billboards like turn next right blah blah and I was like Grammy turn around look it's a Loretta Lynn sign omg! And she said while I was sleeping she was hoping please don't wake up and see the signs... XD... And then she was like is that really where u wanna go? And I was like well if it uh doesn't hurt ur feelings...yeah. secretly freaking out on the inside, and then when we went to the sign in post office she was like this is where we were going all along. And it was just a awesome time. And then I stayed interested in her for a while, and then I was over her, then slightly got into her again, then every time I hear one of her songs like when I rarely see a video on her like this, I click on it and of course it's gonna show clips of her singing I realize how good she is. So I think I'm gonna get into her now. And never stop. 💞

Loretta Lynn always told it like it was. She was a voice for many women. She is always so honest about her life and where she was from. Many didn't know what it was like to be poor but I honestly think that if Loretta wouldn't have married Doolittle she would not have had the opportunities to get into the music industry so I am thankful that it worked out like they did. If Loretta hadn't have been born into a poor and loving family she may not have survived raising kids with no money for food. She did what her Mommy did when they were hungry and fed her babies until Doo decided to come home. It is sad that she had to go through this but i know it made her stronger. I just love that Loretta never gave up 9n her marriage or her life as a singer. She survived doing what she knew and inspired so many women. What a wonderful woman. There will never be anyone like Loretta Lynn. God Bless Her.

Gah i love Dolly, My love for her has just grown, as ive grown. When i was little i always confused Dolly and Loretta. I was born in 87 and my dad and maternal gpa loved country, there wasn't one day of my life from birth that country music didnt touch my ears but especially Willie, Dolly, Loretta, Johnny Cash etc. & i married at 17 like a dumbass haha I got pregnant with my oldest a year after I got married and had her when i was 18. Never knew the voice i had grown up hearing had something in common with me lol or i to her, technically.
My great gma and my gma in law all got married at 10-13 to men in their late 20s-late 30s as well. The early to mid 20th century were drastically different than the late 20th century and a lot of that is because of Loretta and other women and men like her that spoke up and spoke loud. She's the best kind of firecracker imo 😄
Edit: and omg! The day after i got married i moved to CT and 3 months later moved to WA state, my ex husband was on a submarine in the Navy and we were stationed in Groton CT and then Bangor WA. I never knew Loretta also lived in WA after getting married. Damn, if she was from TX wed have pretty much the same life story haha except i cant sing or write and dont have any talent for anything 😂😂
