It was scripted: I'm knowledgeable about these Gematria rituals all top companies do. 'konami b come a bad company' gets 966 in Satanic Gematria. You can see this on the Gematrinator calculator. 966 is a hidden 666-code. They just flip sixes to make nines. Any 666-code in the Satanic category is confirmation a ritual was performed. Konami had their time to shine (like Sega). Sega failed deliberately. I don't know how this will develop. Maybe they'll reemerge in good shape in the future.
There should be some sort of Oscar style emulation awards show for folks who work on and preserve games, espeically ones that would be lost in time otherwise like this one. Although Nintendo would probably shut it down😂
