Just starting to get the hang of Agile PM.
The major thing jumps off of kickoff meeting is the ratio overhead(management) to working staff:
Out of 10 members there are 5 (1 Architect 2 developers 2 QA) who are "committed"
5 "supervisors"
I guess I have more to learn how so many supervisors let the actual team get the job done

how come every Agile simulations or clarification videos never mention the design team like (branding designer, UX designer and UI designer and front end developers) they should be included in the development team too and they role won't vanish by ignoring them

Thanks for making the video. Is this Agile methodology different to Scrum. I ask because I have some confusion with a few things.
- My understanding is Scrum methodology has just three roles: Product Owner, Scrum Master and Dev Team. This video has a Product Owner, Scrum Master and Architect.
- The other confusion is team members introducing themselves by title, such as Lucas the "Team Lead" and I understand that a Development Team has no titles.
- Also there are specialisations which is fine though how does this fit into cross-functionality?
Am I misunderstanding the Agile set up in the video?

Think of agile as sport, and scrum as soccer, ie a type of sport.
Not all sports players are soccer players, but all soccer players are sports players.
Scrum is just one way of doing "agile".
You can learn what agile is by reading the agile manifesto - agilemanifesto.org/
Be sure to read the agile principles too.
You'll notice that the manifesto doesn't specify how to do any of the things it mentions. it is simply a philosophy.
Scrum is a methodology - it's one of many options for how to be agile.

I don't understand why people are saying things about Scrum framework, the title clearly states its Agile Simulation. Ofcourse they are using some scrum practices, but that doesn't mean they are using scrum...
