Great video, thanks. How easy is it to get to Ocean Cruise Terminal from this hotel if you don’t have a car? It looks to be a 20 minute walk. Is it recommended to get a taxi if you have a few pieces of luggage and can’t manage to walk far with it all?
Stayed here before our Britannia cruise. Great hotel, clean and comfortable and centrally located. Only downside was the view over what looked like the rubbish area and lack of tea/coffee or water in the room.
Oh! Next time just ask for floor 7 facing the cruise terminal, and they give you a kettle if you ask. We always pop to the co-op next door for the water too lol!

I've never stayed at the Moxy, but I'm happy to realize they are a part of the Marriott chain whom I have membership with. This looks like a great stay and as a result of your video I've booked> Question, do you know if the lockers 0:49 can be used during checkin if our room isn't ready and we need to store our bags?
No problem, it's a great hotel in a great location. Sure that wouldn't be an issue at all, though may be wise to just send the hotel a message to check!
Both are great. We have booked the Moxy for a cruise in August because it was cheaper than the Holiday Inn and parking is only £5 rather than £15. We also just booked room only as Bills is just around the corner at West Quay and we will go for breakfast there.

I particularly liked your room at the Holiday Inn that seemed much larger than the one you stayed in at the Moxy. And, thanks for your breakfast suggestion at Bills.
Quite a difference in coat, though the executive room at the Holiday Inn was larger and can look directly over the city cruise port if your ship is cruising from there!

I didn’t realise the Moxy was a hotel. I thought it was a nightclub/bar place. We have friends staying at the Premier Inn next door before their Iona cruise. Great area for eating out. Spoilt for choice.

Thanks! It is easy to get a taxi, to far to walk with cases.

I've watched both of your Moxy & Holiday Inn videos. We'll be in Southampton for 2 days pre-cruise. Which hotel would you recommend for our stay.

What about parking? Did you leave your car at West Quay for the duration of your cruise?
Yes West Quay is a couple of minutes walk away, at that time it cost £5 for 24 hours. 😀

Depends on which cruise terminal you are cruising from. Close to City Terminal.
