Those are made just over the hill from me. The new ones look COOL...look them up. Very high clearance. ..and they are VERY well made. I have toured the plant and there is almost NO wood. I hate RVs due to their shotty construction...but those are super WELL made. I have bought some of the scratch and dent materials for my personal builds . ..matter of fact my "dehumidifier " in the basement of my home is one of those AC units... ;) The entire outside skin panels over foam...no wood..only wood is the cabinet build out. They heat easily. . We have TONS of foam cloth foam pads for sleep mats from them. Even scored a few Dometic fridges.
My parents owned an Aliner in the late 80s and we loved it. We even went to the original schoolhouse factory in PA, we had an issue with condensation (they put in a heater which is now standard) and wall side panels which were coming unglued, so they fixed everything in their small factory. That was back in the day when they were building one Aliner a day. My parents finally let it go about 5 years ago when the roof seal was no longer working properly.
Haha I always felt like it was too long too but everyone told me they loved it and dont cut it! Haha but thanks man. Feel free to share any feedback like that in the future, I need to hear that stuff! I am glad to get some feedback on the short intro and going to go with that for a bit
I have the Chalet a-frame version with an identical layout. It has a solid heavy duty axle, leaf springs, lifted, plus I added shocks, bump stops and heavy duty shackles. Make it rugged and you'll be surprised where it'll go.
it's totally cool! and it matches your personality. i'm partial to those, but I've nowhere to park one for when i'm not using it. you have an uplifting personality w/ great energy. i'm very happy for you!
Love the enthusiasm! we have really loved our Aliner. I have a 2015 Expedition which we ordered from the factory with 2 dormers, so the interior feels huge with the dormers up. It's for sale if anyone wants one. Terrific camper.
Nice rig. We used to have an Aliner Scout which was a pretty stripped down model. It had electricity and electric brakes but no fridge, water, stove or propane. It weighed 1100 lbs. towed like a dream even with our Toyota Matrix. Yours has all the amenities so it probably weighs around 1500. We had a great time with ours taking that thing all around North America. So many good memories. Enjoy yours, they’re a super unique RV.
Thanks so much for posting been doing lots of camping myself tired of the 10th thing tried pop-ups 92 cranks cables breaking that doesn't work my next thing going to be a frame love the way they set up take down nothing's perfect but suit me fine
It's like a studio apartment! I love my aframe, mine is a forest river brand but when I go camping Its like my own little clubhouse or cabin.... have fun!
I think you deserved an upgrade in your life, so enjoy my friend. It’s so much healthier, that air conditioner, for you and your adorable companion. Please be so careful. I hope I make it thru this virus, I’m at risk, it’s scary. Oh gosh so many new things on your Aliner.
Well, I never really saw inside an Aliner til now, and its not as terrible as I thought. Would be sweet with all that extra space to have a shower inside though
Pretty awesome little trailer. I’m guilty of watching your videos out of order but it’s ok I feel like I know things other viewers don’t! I’m down to mob!
Love your infectious great attitude and overall easygoing vibes. Stumbled upon your videos and I’m starting to grind em out. Would love to drop ship and drive at the beat of my own drum. Happy trails!
I love that pop up and hard sides. Best part though are though Hazy's I spotted in the fridge. Those IPA's are pretty darn good. I used to windsurf and my wife and I would camp out in our pop up cab over Skamper it was called. Oregon Gorge, up and down the Oregon Coast, Rio Vista Inland delta in the Bay Area for high wind. I like your trailer version of our pop up. Could fit in your garage. NIce set up. Great spirit and vids. If you need music, I have music you can use. Hit me up and I will make it available for your vids!
Our needs change as we go into things, I'm hoping the new owners of Dodge-Mahal get as much use and fun out of it as you, if not more. I poured a ton of work into a pop-up camper my wife and I got. I just didn't like the way it made the truck feel off road and went the trailer route, some people think I am crazy, but in the end it is our needs that matter.
Always loved these trailers. The toilet in our current cabover though is so hard to give up! With a trailer like this though I could sell the F250 and tow this with the Tacoma. I am fine with camping on easy roads, then using the motorcycles to explore the rougher roads.
Ah HA ! At minute 1:26.......I spied the rear of a rig with newly familiar lines...... The new DTM rig ?? I have an Alite 400 mini. Tow it all over behind my Jeep. lifted it 4 inches with still the tiny tires, but it still handles some pretty rad trails. Im liking where your going with this......
Not a fan of tow behinds but this is definitely one of the better ones, perfect for temporary travel. I would assume it would restrict where you can travel to due to tow behind laws in parks.
I cant believe I’m so surprised how roomy it seems inside. Sometimes simple and cheap is just better and more fun. Personally if i ever did something like this - I’m not sure i could go without a shower/bathroom. Maybe one day i can take something like this up, but not yet.
I am sold brother, been looking at campers, pop up and R.V s. For 4 years bought a pop up hated it. I sub,ed today and look forward to following you for a long time to come. PEACE AND HAPPINESS
Thanks for posting this video dude! Had no idea about aframes before this, after watching was inspired to pick up one cheap on craigslists for myself and I freaking love it. Already got to take it to Lake Tahoe, the Grand Canyon and the Texas coast all in the matter of a couple of days, but can't wait to take it more places. Was totally inspired by this video though dude, just awesome stuff!
It would be fun to keep that thing and rent it out like an AirBNB. Pull it with your rig and park in an interesting spot and all of you camp out. Them in the Aliner, you in your rig.
If you rearched the leafs and stuck 3" blocks on top of the axle for more clearance and maybe some 31s do you think it would be better off road? Maybe a skid plate or two or nerf bars to keep the sides from being crushed too
Hi Phil! Nice choice. I live in Oregon and I would be interested in this trailer when you want to sell it. I am friends with Happy's Trails too. Can't wait to see your newly built rig. Keep me in mind. Cheers!
I 💘 love it....those pop ups are awesome little campers....we had a Avalon by fleetwood....sold it to get our class a rv......stay safe ....stay blessed!🚌🚙😘💜💕
that is a rad trailer, shame you're gonna sell it. now on my shortlist of trailers to look for whenever i can afford one. also love the energy! got a new subscriber bud!
I love it. I'm a fan of Aliners, and your MobMobile vids. The art of symmentry is not lost. You could use some Dollar Tree Pool Noodles for some insulation in the corners. Look at a couple of vids by Slim Potatohead, the noodles are easily removable , but still keep the camper temp bareable. Keep up the Excellent Work of Play.
Nice rig. Hey I'm having troubles trying to go camping with my dog in the national and states parks, do you have some guidance video about that? Recommendations, places to avoid etc. Thanks
“They had a deal on lunchables haha!!!” This was the most fun camper tour I have ever seen!
First time I have seen inside an A frame, they are better than I thought

What do you think of my lil Aliner?!
That thing is pretty damn roomy
I like it! There’s one in the campground I’m staying at but I’ve never seen the inside until now. Ha👍🏻
slim potatohead has being living in one for years and he fixed it up quite nice...i think they are very efficient
Awesome
You scared me for a minute 😄
Was tryin to figure out how that was gonna fit on the back of the jeep 😂🤣😂
1:25 Nice white Jeep Gladiator.
Good to hear this is temporary. Can’t wait to see how you’ll outfit the Jeep, I’m sure it will be AWESOME!
I thinks me spies a jeep gladiator

It's nice to see someone so happy with what they have. Good on ya.
Forget the Aliner, the Aeropress! Best coffee maker ever!
Glad you kept this tiny home. Light and Love
Did I see a Gladiator taillight🤔👍
I saw that too.
I agree
Yuuuuup
thats what i saw
1st thing I thought of as well
Dude, I've always disliked how long your intro was, just never felt like complaining about it. It's perfect now👌!
Haha I always felt like it was too long too but everyone told me they loved it and dont cut it! Haha but thanks man. Feel free to share any feedback like that in the future, I need to hear that stuff! I am glad to get some feedback on the short intro and going to go with that for a bit
I didn't notice. I'm so used to skipping forward, to avoid the intro. Apparently I'll like it also.
I have the Chalet a-frame version with an identical layout. It has a solid heavy duty axle, leaf springs, lifted, plus I added shocks, bump stops and heavy duty shackles. Make it rugged and you'll be surprised where it'll go.

Nice new white Rubicon Gladiator, can’t wait to see your final build!
Love the enthusiasm! we have really loved our Aliner. I have a 2015 Expedition which we ordered from the factory with 2 dormers, so the interior feels huge with the dormers up. It's for sale if anyone wants one. Terrific camper.
Still have it?
@@mcd00ga hey there thanks for asking. I do not, we needed a bigger trailer and bought an airstream.
That’s a pretty sweet temporary home while the new rig is being built.

Congrats on your new purchases! I can’t wait to see you take it to the limits of overlanding hills, sand, dirt, water. Cheers!
What about a lift kit and bigger tires under the trailer? 🤔
Thank you! I am excited to share
@@BuddyNutcracker if I keep it long enough I will have to get it a bit higher off the ground for sure!

Love that you are always so positive and upbeat. Keep rockin' brother!
Well, I never really saw inside an Aliner til now, and its not as terrible as I thought. Would be sweet with all that extra space to have a shower inside though
Really different but useful and not bad so hope you have nice trip where ever you going pretty big inside hey, thanks for sharing...
We had one of the first A Liners back when they were a conversation starter. We loved it.
Cool little camper
The new camper is rad. Nice buy
Just found you and I really like you dude. My kind of people.
Pretty awesome little trailer. I’m guilty of watching your videos out of order but it’s ok I feel like I know things other viewers don’t! I’m down to mob!
Tow it back to Arizona and I will buy it. That's exactly what I'm looking for. It is perfection. I love it
Come and wheel down in Georgia, the Mountains are pretty sweet, like an Oregonian Temperate Rainforest with trout streams and errything

Someone has been watching slim potato head.🥔
I love Slim potato heads videos. I wonder if he’s found a new Aliner yet. Or something new?
@@purplepixie3397 I think he'll be in Mexico for a while.
Scott LaRoche oh yes you are so right. I totally forgot about the video guessing where he was. Thank you for reminding me.
that
HE GOT NEW ONE!!! Just watched his newest video.

Those little Aliners are pretty neat!
dope lil camper!...never seen one, lots of room actually.
They are pretty excellent. My bro in Boise had one.
Awesome dude, can't wait to see the whole new rig that's a sweet little camper you came up on.
your new wheel home is so nice! Thank you! Good Luck!

Nice gladiator! The diesel gladiator is epic!
I love grandma's sign. I want one! We have Aframe and Love it
Room on board for a Thetford Porta Potti ?
It would be fun to keep that thing and rent it out like an AirBNB. Pull it with your rig and park in an interesting spot and all of you camp out. Them in the Aliner, you in your rig.
Congrats on the Gladiator!
If you rearched the leafs and stuck 3" blocks on top of the axle for more clearance and maybe some 31s do you think it would be better off road? Maybe a skid plate or two or nerf bars to keep the sides from being crushed too
You would need that ac if you go to the Deep Coastal South in the summer
A gallon of fuel for 8 hours of AC I would think that chasing weather is going to be more costly?
I live in Vegas and would be interested in purchasing the trailer when you are done with it. Exactly what I am looking for.
I like those. Great choice.
Welcome to the Jeep family . that was a gladiator that I seen
Hi Phil! Nice choice. I live in Oregon and I would be interested in this trailer when you want to sell it. I am friends with Happy's Trails too. Can't wait to see your newly built rig. Keep me in mind. Cheers!

Awesome man, ya Jason is a good dude! Thx for the comment man
@@Down2Mob Oh and Dude...I am Lady who is Down to Mob! Cheers!
Great video, you inspired us with the English Pennliner, thank you
Holy crap Batman your missing a route 66 stickers and you should keep it and put off-road rims and tires
Cool little place
i love your camper, and wish i had one.
Looks great man, but personally., i'd have to have a radio or CD player. i like peace& quiet, but still love to listen to music or news and sports.
Love this trailler
I 💘 love it....those pop ups are awesome little campers....we had a Avalon by fleetwood....sold it to get our class a rv......stay safe ....stay blessed!🚌🚙😘💜💕
Thanks for the “Three Amigos” plug Phil!!! Those trailers are cozy for winter, a buddy used one on our Skifari trip two years ago.
Of course! I got the stickers at NWOR and was bummed I didnt connect with you, someday soon! Ya I am lovin this lil thing!
That is so cute i never saw one with an AC.
I'm really excited for your finished new camper!! The A-frame looks great!!
was thinking about getting something like this to save money while in school.
Liking the trailer dude
Sweet Renegade
Can you drive small distances slowly with thr roof erected?
I think you will be pulling a off road trailer of some sort behind a gladiator.
What truck and camper are you thinking of getting?
Hazy ipa’s those are bomb
If that thing had some kind of shower and toilet it'd be the perfect first home
Outdoor shower already on it. Just put a Thetford portable under the bed.
that is a rad trailer, shame you're gonna sell it. now on my shortlist of trailers to look for whenever i can afford one. also love the energy! got a new subscriber bud!
Cool camper. Congrats man.
I'm excited to see the Gladiator
I want one! (the trailer not the flashlight)
Your dog is gorgeous! Like your channel :)

Where at in Oregon will you be building the new rig
Very groovy! I've been eyeballing those for a while myself.
I think that's an excellent temporary portable base camp.
The Gladiator is to pull your Sherpa into the back country, right?
