Project Reconstruction features sound effect creation, foley recording, and soundtrack re-scoring. By taking a film, commercial, or video sequence with no audio, Jordan reconstructs the scene using a mixture of post production techniques. Ranging from Action to Drama scenes, the goal of "Project Reconstruction" is to showcase Jordan Herman's post production knowledge and skills, and give examples of work for you to reference when choosing an engineer or producer for your next project.

There really isn’t enough appreciation in this world for tron, the visuals, soundtrack, etc. all incredibly unique and incredible in its own way.
I don't know how people didn't like this movie, it's just sooo good!
I still can't understand how everyone let this masterpiece slide, the graphics are top notch, the soundtrack is beautiful and the story has a lot of potential. This universe should def be brought back.
Circumstance and plot. The movie had some flawed writing and was fundamentally different, so it was glossed over by a lot of people. Speed Racer had a similar issue, plus too small of an audience despite how revolutionary it was.
The slow buildup of the music when he starts running with that side view is iconic

I had the orange/yellow light bike when I was a kid! When I played with it I I imagined it was like this 🤣. I think I still have the toy.

I didn’t realize this reconstruction video was even being seen still, which I greatly appreciate. I hope to return to audio and sound design soon, a lot of things have happened in the last couple years that have taken my attention away from this channel. JDH is no longer just an audio production channel, but a technical entertainment channel. Stick around, iv got stuff coming.

So many years later, this actually make it as a recommendation! Overall I like!
The bikes sound cool. Sounds need a little bit more umpf to them, like when the bikes are going head over heels it's too muffled and soft. They also need to be a bit more distinct, I couldn't really tell when they activated the light walls or any other cue. Have a listen with your eyes closed and you should be able to have a guess what's going on but I can't really. Food for thought, keep at it

The original makes sense to why its not something like this. The original was actually Flynn's Ducati. Your able to tell from the motorbike police chase scene when Sam done that small jump, its the exact same sound as when he also done the jump on the light cycle. Nether the less, good sound designing

What was that sound from when the lightcycle finished rezzing?
i heard that sound in Factorio, when something got destroyed by the aliens
Its from Star Trek online when you hail or get hailed I believe. Although I have struggled to find a video which shows it and cba to re-download the game to find out. I cant recall if this sound is in any of the Star Trek movies or TV series.

I keep wondering where is the big-assed feature most blue-rays were supposed to come with, whcih is the ability to listen to the movie with the sound off and just the music, or no music and all other sounds? That was supposed to be a thing with DVD, but then no one even used that format's capability to actually include such features on any feature-length discs.
